Introduction

Ahoyhoy one and all. I, Artorius Perim, am here to tell you about my boring campaign for congress.
You may be wondering? Who is this guy? Well, here’s a little about me…

I hail from eCanada, and I have served in numerous offices there. I have been in the office of Minister of Health for 4 terms, and founded the Meals On Wheels Canada organization, I am a 3 term congressman, as well as the former Attorney General. I also served as the Ambassador to Colombia and Venezuela little over a year ago. In my former Political Party, the Democratic Action League, I have served as the Charity Director and 3 terms as the Vice President.

Now that I have landed in eNew Zealand, I have served in the provisional government as the Minister of Education and now currently a Minister of Public Relations in the Calbe Administration.



My Views and Opinions on Current Events

Just recently our nation declared war on Australia. This decision was fairly rational, and was not even discussed in Parliament. I believe, and will try to enforce, that all matters concerning the country be discussed through Congress for the best potential choice of action. Furthermore, I believe full fledged war against Australia is wrong and will ultimately lead to our disaster. I do not intend in pursuing any aggression towards them seeing as we should be keeping peaceful ties. Australia is our respective neighbor and we should be working together, not against.

Concerning war, I believe that having training wars is completely fine. I am against any form of war unless it is completely necessary. As a member of the Peace ‘n’ Prosperity Party, I believe eNew Zealand should try it’s best to stay at peace and avoid global conflicts until we as a nation are organized and strong enough to participate.

Now onto taxes, I believe eNew Zealand should change our taxes back to the format of 1% VAT, 1% Import and 15% Income. These tax numbers are the reason why our young nation will grow and prosper. Allowing foreign companies into our markets allows for competitive prices and eventually lower prices for the nation’s consumers, making them reasonably affordable prices for goods.

Domestic Affairs

If, elected, my congressional term will revolve mainly around working on the community and our home. My goals for this term will be able to create a more well-structured government, outlining the purpose and powers of Parliament.

I want to make sure the public is aware and knowledgeable about our Government Structure and how it will work. I believe it is important for the nation citizens to understand what we do. Moreover I will be working towards getting day-to-day information and updates about the matters and bills in Congress and made public, so that our population may give their opinion for us to consider.

Keeping Congressmen active is another objective for my term. For the past 3 weeks congressmen have gone limb, and barely participating. We need a way, or person, to make sure everyone is submitting their input on important matters. As well, I want to ensure all newly elected congressmen will vote on all proposals and bills.
