Greyhunter: The twilight of my Presidential career

At the twilight of my Presidential career, i would just like to clarify and share a few thoughts and views with everyone.
Firstly, let me start off by squashing any rumours that might be floating around, that i will NOT be running for President again. I have had my fun and moment to shine, and i believe it is important to let others experience this incredible journey. Change is a powerful tool, and i strongly believe in this concept. Hence why in the future, i would like to see some of the "younger" players stepping up to the plate, and giving it their all for this great nation.
Secondly, the life of an eRepublik President is not an easy one. But i can tell you one thing, its very manageble as long as you surround yourself with the right people. These people (cabinet) should be people that you trust, are hard working and have a never say die attitude. I have been very lucky and privalaged to have worked with some of the best, in my time as president.Their dedication, hard work and loyalty to their ecountry is unquestionable. Their long, sleepless and sometimes unrewarded hours, allowed eSouth Africa to grow, shine and even excell on the world stage. I would like to personally thank each member of my cabinet, for their hard work and dedication.
Lastly, the future of eSouth Africa belongs to all of us. It is up to us to shape the path that this great nation will take. I encourage all players to invite their friends and peers from RL work/school and environment, to make this nation even better and stronger, every single day.
Looking back, we have all achieved and lived through so much, from PTO's to losing our nation, to clawing back with our never say die attitudes. I will always look back at the time spent as president fondly, and with a smile on my face.
I look forward to the remaining few days of my time as your president.

You know Grey, I still remember when I was a noob, green and wet behind the ears in the game, and you were there, taking care of us, bringing all the fun and games in our elives, and just being this damn friendly, awesome, high level player, a minister even, making sure we keep on playing. Never had I imagine that I would one day get to do your job, to work side by side with you, but I did, and what a privilege it was. I will always remember you as the fun and games guy who took care of the eSA citizens. As a friend. Even someone who I could tell to take out his finger from his backside and get a move on. I trusted you and you had my loyalty. You trusted me and I had your loyalty.
Go well my friend, I hope you will stay in eSA. I'm starting an old age home for all our ex-Presidents, where they can all sit on the stoep, basking in the sun and tell each other dirty jokes, not having to worry where the next gift is going to come from to keep the wellness up.
No wonder you're loved and respected by your team. Our next CP has quite the shoes to fill.
