Greetings to UK

Hello everyone!

My "name" is cen and some of you already know me, either from the friend list or by political events. I was serving my country as CP of Slovenia last month and 2 times as MoD in 2012 and 2011.

I decided to move to UK for a while to take a break from the local politics.

Why I picked UK as my new location? Well.. I was looking around the map and these were some of the factors:
-if I have to see foreign articles at least they will be in english which I understand
-a possibility to kick some French ass in the next month, you never know what those guys are planning
-all the time inside the government I had great relations with people from UK, most of them eventually ended up on my friends list to keep contact

I also have a few questions so I hope you can help me. 🙂

1. In summer 2011 as MoD I asked your CP at that time to send some help in Italy to keep RW under control. He said he will send elite units to help but I forgot what their name was. Does anyone remember what was the name of UK Elite military unit at that time? I used to joke about it the whole month back then but sadly I forgot what were they called.

2. I see very low amount of votes in top 5 articles. How come? Is newspaper publishing in UK generally low or is it just the difference in population (! am used to 100+ in top).

3. How do UK Military Units work? Are they financed by the country or do they survive through market? Do you organize joint actions from time to time where all MUs strike together? Does the government supply civil army on daily basis?

4. Do you think France will extend the current contract with Poland or they will attack after 5th next month?

Welcome to the eUK Cern o/
Not sure about the first point, possibly just UK Special Forces.
2nd a bit of both really, at the moment it seems article writing is at a real low, probably because of the summer lull.
3rd. Private MU's are self funded, many with commune systems. BEF is government funded. MU's nearly always organise strikes separately. There is some government supply, either during strikes, through the BEF MU or in Call To Arms (CTA) in MoD articles.
4. They're French, never know.

1) maybe UKSF
2) small population, coupled with the fact we are a very partisan nation that only votes for there own tribes articles and little interest in the media.
3) BEF is the only Government funded, the rest are private MU's which are self financed by its members.
4) France have this intense hatred borne out of the fact in RL we are much better, so I expect an attack as soon as they have the chance.

I mostly agree with the comments of the others.
2. There are 513 voters in the UK congress elections, Slovenia had 682, so that is not a big difference.
Vote buying is rarely done in our nation, maybe more in Slovenia?
Not all UK citizens are partisan, but a lot are.
3. We also have NHS MU for division 1 soldiers supplied by the government.
4. France will attack when Poland has problems.
