Greetings Austin REMEMBER TO VOTE!!!

Let me introduce myself for those who don't know me, My name is FX, and I am running for Mayor of Austin. I would love to tell you a little bit about myself and my campaign, to inform you about my platform, and to ask for your support.
I began in the region of Augusta, the closest region to my RL location, While I was there I gained valuable knowledge of the Weapons Industry and the workforce in general. I ran for mayor and won with an awe inspiring 12 votes, and during my time in office I began a hospital fund, I eliminated taxes, and I helped the active members of my region find good paying jobs. As the next round of local elections approach with a solid candidate in Augusta as my successor I have come to Austin in hopes of doing the same thing on a larger scale and having a greater positive impact on our country.
I've learned a lot about politics and I have some strong, unique ideas about improving our community. Let me tell you about them:
1) Taxation - I think the company tax should be low but not non existent, this is the only way to keep a tab on suspended companies. But at the same time I don't wish to hinder our productive companies.
2) Housing - On the other hand I think the amount of houses our citizens own should be high and the amount of taxes they pay for such a wise investment should be non existent.
3) The Treasury - As the value of the American dollar inevitably falls it makes little sense to keep our funds in USD, I would convert 85% of our treasury to Gold.
4) Employment for Everybody - I believe that there is a company willing to hire any citizen willing to work and will dedicate my term as mayor to ensuring all of our citizens are employed for fair wages in good companies.
5) Population - Austin is home to many old and famous citizens, and the proud owner of a Q4 hospital, During my term as mayor I hope to noticeably increase the population of this region.

Strong platform buddy.
I like eliminating the housing tax, but think that the company tax should also be taken out. If it\'s only a way to keep up with the companies in our region, I would suggest a spreadsheet that you review every three or so days.
Do you have any plans to increase the treasury?
The Housing tax is not \"the only way to keep up with the companies in our region\" It\'s the only way we have in dealing with suspended companies in our region.
Austin already has a Q4 hospital, I see no immediate need to raise the amount in our treasury. I believe in the generosity of the citizens of Austin if a need for funds were to introduce itself.

Yes I did say low but not non existent.
If I know anything about eRepublik, then those Companies will be dissolved even if you downgrade to a 0 USD tax.
So far the only response I\'ve ever seen from the Admins stated they would not interfere with them.
