Election Results
December was a rough month for everybody in South Africa, and the Gold Party was no exception. Nonetheless we've pulled through another victory in this month's congressional elections. We took 15 of the 40 available seats, and maintained our position as the largest party in congress. The following are you Gold Party congressmen for this month (incumbents in bold):

New Speaker and Mods:
As always at the begging of the term congress selected it's new speaker and forum moderators. Robert Reid decided to step down, however SAGP Media Director Karl Bauer (yes I am going to talk about myself in third person) was elected as the new speaker by a significant majority of congress. In addition Gold Party members Robert Reid and Greyhunter were elected as two of the three forum moderators for this month. Congratulations to all of you!

Upcoming Elections
There is only one week left before the January presidential elections. There is a lot of planning to be done, if you're a new person looking for a way to get involved in the party this is a great time to do it. Please join in on the discussions on our forums.
