Fundraiser Results
Our fundraiser last week was a great success. We raised over 1200 ZAR (roughly 20 gold worth), half of which went to the holder of ticket number 79, Sakyo, who walked away with 642.5 ZAR. Thanks everybody who played! Make sure you subscribe to this paper so you'll know the next time we run a fundraiser, and who knows, maybe you'll be the one coming away with 600 ZAR.

Congratulations Ines Schumacher!
Even though she's not a Gold Party member, Ms. Schumacher comes to the presidency with the full support of the Gold Party. I don't think I need to reiterate the service that she's done for this country in the past, and we can be sure that we can look forward to another successful term this month.

Gold Party in the Cabinet
Though the Gold Party no longer holds the presidency, we're still very much involved in the executive branch. The Gold Party cabinet members for December are listed below (for a full list, look here).

Finance Minister/Director of the RBSA - Enoch Root
Enoch's been running South Africa's economy with huge success for the past several months. Even as President last month he still ran the RBSA. Now that he's done with the presidency he's back to economics full time. You can be sure that as long as Enoch's involved eSA's economy will remain strong.

Minister of Trade – Tronyx
Tronyx has also been kept on by Ines for another term as Minister of Trade. His reports have been incredibly useful in determining import tax policies and keeping our local businesses competitive with foreign companies. Doubtlessly we can expect the same high quality work from him in the future.

Minister of Social Affairs - Greyhunter
This is Greyhunter's second term as MoSA. He's been doing a great job so far running games and doing other social stuff, not too mention the work he's been doing for the gold party and in congress. We can look forward to another fun month with Greyhunter heading the Ministry of Social Affairs.

Minister of Information - Karl Bauer
I guess it's not just the Gold Party that reads these articles, because President Schumacher has asked me to take over for her running the Ministry of Information. This will be my first time working in the cabinet, but I can assure you I will do my best to keep the nation informed, as I have for the gold party this past month.

Party President Elections
There's always another election coming up in Erepublik. Now that we're through with the CP election the next order of business is electing another Party President. We have just over a week to select our candidates, if you want to participate in the discussions, or if you think you have what it takes to run the party, make yourself known on our forums (You'll have to request access to view the member areas if you haven't already).

PTO Warning
As you might already be aware, channers are moving in to attempt to PTO South Africa. We've faced PTO threats before and succeeded, this time will be no different, but nonetheless be on the lookout for zombies. Also, don't let yourself be drawn into arguments with the channers, the whole point is that they're here to piss us off, and if they can't do that they'll get bored and leave.
