GOLD MINES
Gold mines can be obtained by countries through special events such as tournaments.
Gold mines are placed in the capital city of the winning countries, and contain a changeable amount of gold.
The gold mines can be explored on daily basis by the citizens of the countries that own a gold mine(s). Exploring a gold mine costs 10 energy, while the action can be resulted with a winning of up to 40 gold (the minimum sum is 0.3 gold). Once a citizen explores a gold mine, the amount of gold won by the citizen is withdrawn from the gold mine deposit. Furthermore, each time a citizen explores a gold mine, the country receives 0.1 gold, which is also withdrawn from the gold mine deposit. Citizens can explore the gold mine through the 'my places' page. Only citizens at level 22 or above can explore a gold mine.
If the region in which the gold mine was placed is being occupied, the occupying country's citizens now have the ability to explore it. The same happens if the region is liberated (the ownership on the gold mine is back to the original owner). In short, the country that holds the region in which the gold mine is placed can enjoy digging it. Once the mine is out of gold, it disappears.
