Congress. The name strikes fear unto all who utter it. Taxes and the federal budget would be merely Dio’s sand without it. iNCi would have no reason to not attack eCyprus without it. And Candor is pretty kawaii~

The twenty-fifth of every month marks a special day in eAmerica. It’s the day after the twenty-fourth. And sometimes we participate in Congressional elections that are often determined in the last few minutes before reset. But whoever survives this so-called “sniping” is honored and worshipped with an image of a medal, as well as a shot at these bad boys. While we’re on this topic, it would be prudent for us to mention the honor of having one of our own members, Jelly9473, chair the 40th Congress Citizens Award Committee; as well, congratulations to Libertarian Rusty_Shackleford on being a runner-up in the Athanaric Award for Education and Media!

The best time to start new elections is the day after one ends! Here we are, nearly 48 hours after the conclusion of the Congress elections, and it is time for us to discuss endorsing a presidential candidate. The confirmed candidates thus far are Emerick – a former Libertarian president – and Jelly9473, who’s just an all-around awesome Lib. If we had All-American squads in eRepublik, he’d be on it. Though it’d be more like All-American/Turkish/Spanish/Canadian/Mexican. ima shut up now.

In the past, the party has run presidential primaries in the form of a Google Doc. No longer will this be the case: Marxus, our lovable dictator, will be holding a primary on the USLP forum! If you would like to have a say in who gets the official Libertarian stamp on May 5, please make sure you register on the USLP forum. Yes, we have 642.64 GOLD in the Libertarian Party account. But like most bureaucratic systems, we can’t spend it anywhere. Therefore, party Media Director Stanleyman and Fun Director Paul Proteus have donated some money out of their own kind, generous, charitable, philanthropic pockets for the cause of having a Libertarian Party contest! We are looking for artistic, creative images that embody party spirit. These should be concise - there shouldn’t be too much going on in your image - because we would like to use these in our Libertarian Bulletin articles, and elsewhere.
