Sometimes, diplomacy requires to be nice. Consequently, you meet foreign officials, you smile, you laugh when they make a good joke, and you do everything you can to be accepted. Sometimes, diplomacy requires to yell, and you make noise, you tell on public channels, in your news, that there is something unacceptable ; sometimes, ir requires to threat, and it may also requires to give up.

In the name of France, since the begining of my term, I have been nice so many times that I would become insane if I try to count this, I also yelled, when I was, with my insignificant vanished country, ignored, I even threat, but nothing worked. I was given a dying country, and now, two weeks after, nothing is coming, and yellow and red flags are still insulting our legitimate regions.

Several times, I have been promised help, « later », always « later ». Urgent asian matters, urgent struggle against rising Poland, urgent, bla, bla, bla... To be honnest, I don't give a frak about your inferiority complex towards China, you can rape it or free it as many times as you want, you can put nice red flags on Washington, just for fun, you can be happy or cry about Xinjiang or whatever region wich can please you, as long as I don't have my country, I don't care. I'm just disgusted by the false promises of former friends and allies, by the side I choose, not for the sake of my country, but because it's funnier when you play the game and try to go in the weakest side.

Of course, my Phoenix friends are not the weakest because Eden is stronger, but because they do not see their national interest beyond their own borders. Because they used to be strong enough to defeat the world, when we use to have something now forgotten called mutual help, a kind of messy but friendly brotherhood who made us win in northern america, in asia, and everywhere else.

Now, I do not see more than egoistic purposes stuck together as a chart for a « worldwide alliance », the chart i didn't sign but the chart of side I have choosen for my term. For that, I have to apologize to my people. You trusted me, and I trusted people who do not deserve it.

I've herad kind words many times : « don't worry, we will save France », « be sure that we will help you », but facts ? No, no way. Now you even launch resistance wars, you put them on Super High priority in nice google document, and you think that an exhausted and ruined people can win it on his own. How could I mistaken so much...

I remeber good old times, when I was just an unruly soldier, fighting in the french Foriegn Legion. We were a 600, 1000 citizens country, but we spend shitloads of gold to help peace to grow, to build the huge indonesian empire, to free Russia from romanian occupation, to defend young and small, weak 500 citizen Hungary (yes, you have been like that guys) against the same Romania, and then to fight for Serbia against Croatia. So many month, burning french gold, being available in my army, having poor salaries, for friends ? No, in vain.

Every friendly big nation has been under occupation or in great danger, except Indonesia, and every time, France was there. We never let you down, even if it costed us ou treasury, we never had more than 1000g before our second babyboom, just to save your asses. Obviously, you forgot that you owed us a favor, and great Phoenix, rebirth from the wastes of Peace, has forgotten that, and is not even able to win a fracking 270k wall. For the french capital city, when you are ready to put useless chineese walls down to earth's core.

So, what should we do, do I have to play a what if game just to show the amount of stupidity which lies under the solutions to current affairs ? Okay, let's go.

What if : France was forced to negociate with Spain ?
We would have to give them gold, or our taxes, and to ally with them to prove that we won't strike back.

What if : France was forced to become an unwilling Eden partner ?
It would mean free swaps and free access to Europe, for the USA, Canada, and Spain. Swap festival, free protection by a country they don't care about, and free beer for all !

What if : France was forced to protect polish high wood ?
Shitloads of gold for Poland no one can reach !

What if : France was forced to ally with Spain ?
Spain, the country that fights against everyone, and the country you cannot reach, protected by a vassal.

What if... ?

No, that's enough. If you cannot see that a France under Eden domination means free access to european core regions without any possibilities for those countries to strike back, then the headless chicken may be with you, because you have lost this war. And the worst thing is that as from now, if I am forced to negociate with my ennemies, I don't care. If we negociate, if we so what we have to do, we can survive, but what about you ?

Still not willing to help ? Anyway, it's a bit late... Then, farwell Phoenix, farwell, and good luck from France.

Ok, I see that this article is a bit misunderstood and it needs a big 'edit'.


What's my point ?

- As the french president, my first and unique goal is to preserve and keep alive the french community. I do notcharge individual friends inside phoenix who spend their ressources and guns to help us, no, we are really grateful about this. BUT : Big hungary, Serbia, Russia, could have send one division each. Just 30 soldiers with Q4 weapons, it has almost not cost for them (70g each with MTs...), and it could have changed the end of this battle.

- As the french president, to preserve the french state, I must, my absolute priority is to have at least ONE SINGLE region back for the 23rd. And I will do whatever I have to do for this. I see the deadline coming, and I have to wake up allies. If you read my first paragraph, I use the two last solutions before giving up.

- As the french president, I always acted as a friend of all phoenix countries, I cannot sign the chart, but I do not forget our relationships. And I feel that we are always forgotten.

- Why am I talking about negociations ? Because it is my last option if everyone let us down. I have my priorities, you have yours, and if France is not a priority, don't complain about consequences. Every action has a consequence, forget France and I will be forced to negociate to reach my survival goals. It may look ungrateful, but we need and work (with our without you, look at the french total damages today) for RESULTS, not promises. I'm not pleased about being forced by negociations to break our alliances with phoenix, but if France is under PTO it will be even worse for all of us.
