Gloves and a Rag, anybody?

So, it seems that eCanada has spilled a glass of milk.

I would tend to agree. That we joined the Circle of Trust alliance at all (we were led to believe that we'd remain neutral for a period of time after having left the Asgard alliance, one which I prefer we'd have remained in), and that we did it with next to no public discussion, and then that we did it with a 10 person congress (we should have waited until we had a full 40 member congress to give it a better claim to validity), are both disappointing aspects of our recent trial membership in CoT. And it seems that many in our community feel this way.

Nevertheless, I don't believe the decision was a bad one. Just not my preferred one. I think this has the potential to work out well for our eNation.

But one thing we need to do, is to stop our crying! Shedding tears won't change anything. Screaming and ranting won't change anything. Whining is annoying. And if we were to pull out of our trial membership, it would do far more harm that good that could come of it. We would be seen as double minded and unstable. We would not be attractive allies - to ANYONE.

Let's count our lumps, and move on. Suck it up, and if you feel you need to punish those who lead us down this road (I don't), use the ballot box today and the one available in 10 days. If you feel the one available today isn't good enough because the good are mixed in with the bad, then the one on the 15th of October is the one you need to shoot for - or better yet, run yourself and prevent those responsible from being elected.

Of course, all the ranting and screaming and tears flowing makes for good entertainment. (Whining is just plain annoying anytime). But it does nothing to clean up the milk.

It can even be fun in groups!
