global news: VIP shop and points.

As we all noticed on the new update, we now have a new, VIP shop in the game, where they added a section thats for loyal/active players, and it rewards you being active and checking in the game every day...

We have seen the full layout and details of the VIP shop, which go as follows.


We now have some new game mechanics called VIP shop.
In this article we will see what players have learned about this so far and some things mods clarified to mr eugen in the ticket.


What is a VIP shop?

VIP shop is a special shop, where we have items limited for each VIP level. VIP shop is a permanent addition to the game.
Items can be bought with gold, but for a reduced price (items we also currently have in gold store), for country currency or for raw materials.
Each item is limited in quantity per week, and every new weekly, we should have their quantity reset.
Possibility of having different items after reset was also mentioned in ticket by mods.


How to get VIP points?

There are three ways of acquiring VIP points needed to unlock VIP levels:
1. Claiming daily VIP points - which so far has started at 20 points, and increased by 20 each day (20, 40, 60...). It is possible it will start again from 20 after reset, but we have yet to see it to confirm it.
2. By buying packs for yourselves, either for RL money or for game tokens - each pack now includes VIP points, quantity of which are equal to pack price x 100.
3. By having a pack gifted to you. Person sending a gifted pack receives no VIP points.

VIP points will not be lost at weekly reset, it appears they will be kept permanently.



Important note: one cannot acquire VIP points by purchasing Token packs or having them gifted. Plato said it is to ensure fairness. I inquired mods in which way it ensures so, and the reply I received goes like this:

"Because otherwise, you'd feel forced to buy token packs and then buy the intended pack with tokens, for the double vip benefit"


How many VIP points do we need for each VIP level?

While mods answered us this question by saying there is no official source of information for this, we will include the ones we know so far. If anyone else has additional info, please write it in comments and I'll add it the article.

VIP level 0: starting point
VIP level 1: 200
VIP level 2: 400
VIP level 3: 1200
VIP level 4: 3500
VIP level 5: 6000
VIP level 6: 10000?
VIP level 7: 17500
VIP level 8: 35000
VIP level 9: ??
VIP level 10: ??

So there you have it, thats the VIP so far!
and it seems rather promising.

I would personally also add some new e-nations in the game too, and a few more events/quests/medals, but for now, this is what we have.
