So, you've been around the track a few times now.

You managed to survive the first few gruesome weeks, struggling to stay at above 40 Wellness, smiling when you find out that you can zoom zip on up to 100 wellness by fighting then healing, only to be disappointed to find out you're not in an area with a Q5 Hospital.

You've probably earned a few gold, the first 5g from level 6 you most likely spent on wellness packs, only to find out 1 week later how stupid that was (We all make that mistake). You have a Hard Workers Medal and a Super Soldier Medal.

Now that you've gone through what is probably the hardest part of the leveling experience, you have everything unlocked and are enjoying moderate success. But what should you do now? Well, you can 2-click, or you can get much more involved. This little tips and tricks article will help you out to enjoy eRepubliks Mid Teens much more, and hopefully enjoy much success.

- Making Money



- Black Market

Money? Everyone likes money! Now, Money does not equal Happiness! Make sure you don't think that, but Money can lead to happiness and get you nice things 🙂.

There are the basic ways to make money, such as you have been always doing, just work every day.

There are some more complex ways to make money, but not too complicated. Those can be buying and re-selling guns or houses.

The Weapon and Housing items have the largest Black Market in eRepublik. You may be thinking "Black Market!, I don't want to get ripped off!". I'm not going to lie to you, there is a chance that that will happen of course, but there is no Black Market that is completely safe, and no Black Market that doesn't have Great Reward without Great Risk. While the chances are not high at all, you can lower them even greater by making sure that you have a contract.

"Citizen A will donate X products to Citizen B. Citizen B will donate Y Gold to Citizen A. The terms of this contract must be fulfilled within Z hours after the contract has been signed by both parties.
If the contract is broken by either sides, the exchanged properties will be returned to their previous owners, if such an action is possible. This is also valid in case the parties that break the contract are permanently banned, or their properties are impounded, or the citizen that signed the contract dies. The parties that break the contract will also receive a three day ban.
If the contract is modified by either sides, or one of the signatures is modified, the exchanged properties will be returned to their previous owners, if such an action is possible. The parties that have modified the contract or signature will also receive a three day ban."

There is an example contract, Fill in the blanks, and you will have a much more secure trade.

Now, that's how you trade, but the actual philosophy is of one that is often used in life, and will be used later in the guide. Buy Low Sell High!

Use the monetary market in your country to see how much of your currency is valued compared to gold, browse the Other Announcements Board (http://www.erepublik.com/en/forum/Other-Announcements/1) to get a good jist of the prices that everything sells for. If you see a great deal in your countries market, snag it, put up a thread, post a contract with a legitimate offer (A level 4 trying to buy a Q5 House is a no no), and go through with the trade.

Just Make sure that you are using the MOST up to date price before you buy, as the prices change every hour! Don't use a previous days estimates as inflation can be a bitch.

- Banking



Banking is one of the games most simplest ideas. It acts as an interest bank, where you get money over time. You may wonder "It's a scam! This can't be true!" but it is, it's just like real banks. The money your interest gets you is much less than their interest for loans, so they use your money to pay for other peoples loans and make money off it. This is for long-term, so don't expect to get rich quick off this, save this for the higher levels.

- Companies



One of the more complex ways to make money, but a much more stable income.

This is WILL take a lot of research, don't expect it to be a free ride to 10g/day.

Are your BEST friends. (I very highly recommend getting the Company Calc from Erepublik.ws for only 3g, at first I used the free one thinking I'm getting the same thing for free, but you'd be surprised the difference of updates between the 3G one, which really is pocket money and the free trial one.)

You will be visiting those a lot to make sure that you are getting everything at the best price (Ereptools) and making sure that you make the most money you can (Company Calc).

Before you can get into the technical aspect, you need to make a general business plan.

Know how much money you are going to invest, here are my personal recommendations

Q1 Manufacturing/Construction = 30G To Begin with
Q3 Raw Material = 95G to Begin with

(I am only listing those two as they are the best ones to do with that amount of gold, if you are in between and you are going to have a lot of Gold soon save up, if there's no expected cash-flow, build up via the Q1).

Once you have decided which of those you are going to go into, before you can learn what to do right, learn what NOT to do, so you don't lose money.

Here are the main things that you should NEVER EVER DO

-Buy a Raw Material Company NOT in a High Region (Even if its a q3 for 1g, you'll be losing money so no point)
-Do not Get a Defense System or Hospital Company unless you are going to do a Q5 and you have a lot of funding
-Make sure that you do not lose money by using the Company Calc
-Take a look at the market to make sure that the Company Calc is accurate, it uses the lowest price, and if the whole country only has 1 Gift vendor who is selling them at 10g each, you are not going to make 100g a day
-DO NOT Buy a company through your citizen, the 5g for a Org is well well worth it
-DO NOT Fire Inactive employees when you fire a company all at once, fire one by one as you get new employees so you constantly have the 100% productivity bonus

Here is what you SHOULD DO

-If you buy a Raw Material Company, get it in a High Region
-Do your own personal research, you can not rely solely on the Company Calc
-Plug in prices from Ereptools, if your gun company is going to be in a country without any iron, you will never buy iron from there, so the calculator will be completely off, use Ereptools to get the best Iron Price, convert it to gold, then convert it to your currency and re-plug it in

"Congratulations you own a company", Indeed congratulations! You (Hopefully your org, do not buy a company through your own account) are now a General Manager. Most likely your company does not have any employees or any Raw Materials (If you are a Construction/Manufacturing Company). If you do indeed own a non-RM Company, you should likely begin by getting a good amount of Raw Material's (Around 500 or so, use the calculator to calculate 2 or 3 days worth and get that much). Now, hire employees (While Firing the inactive one by one as they are replaced if there were any in the company to begin with), use the calculator to figure out which skill is the best profit maker (I have always found the 5-5.99 to be my big money maker 😁. If you are a 2-clicker, and you can make it on a second time a day, try to check at least every 12 hour or so to make sure all your employees are making good productivity, making you a happy manager. Also make sure that you sell your products! If you see the price rising, try to use your personal funds to pay for the employees, but if you do not have such funds, sell your products at the market price, use the money to cover employee salaries and more Raw Materials if you are a Manufacturer/Construction.

Just Rinse and Repeat, make sure you watch the market and use the calculator for a quick checkup daily to make sure that you are still making a profit, if the market tanks then its better to just abandon the company then keep running it.

- Monetary Market



I personally am no pro at playing the Monetary Market, but I will feed you the information I do know.

Remember a little website www.ereptools.net . You will surely learn to love the site, http://www.ereptools.net/graph/currency is one of your main tools. Watch the big movers and shakers.

Buy currency when its at a really low value (e.g. 1 Gold = $120)
Sell when it makes it back up (e.g. 1 Gold = $40, now you have 3 Gold).

Just always be quick and on the move, once many find out about a great place it will rise back, so you must be one of the first to attack!

- Army



Everyone loves to fight. Face it, you get 10 points a day for fighting (Occasionally 8 if you work/train down to 89) assuming that you are in a Q5 Hospital Region. While fighting seems simple, it is, but possibly in a different way than you are thinking. Many just log on, and click 5 times randomly and then heal. That's simple sure, but for using 30 seconds more, you can greatly help your country. If you have the opportunity to fight, then most likely your country has an army, or a military of some sorts. Most armies have Civilian orders for people who might just be 2-clickers. They just have to take a quick peek at the Orders of the day and attack the region that their country is specifying them to attack. Of course, if you are one of the more active type, then you can be one of those that is in your countries military. You can likely find it by going to your countries forums, but if you have problems doing so, just PM your countries president and s/he will lead the way.

- Politics



Politics, one of the core features of the game. Most likely you have joined a political party. If not, go to My Places > Party.

There are various things you can do within a party. One of which is just be under the name of the party, another is only be somebody who votes for your parties candidates, or what we'll focus on at these levels, making Congress.

As a lower level, you probably envied those in congress, when you hit level 13 you saw you were eligible and thought "Pfft! This must be a joke, Just get to level 13 and I get into congress". Chances are, your thoughts were something like that. You registered yourself, lost, and thought "What? I really have to try?!". The answer is yes. Congress is no simple task.

The first thing to do when running for congress is contacting your Party President. Make sure the region that you want to run in does not have any other candidates of your party, and if it does decide whether to move or run against your own (What you'll have to do in countries with not so many regions). Once the Party President clears you, its time to take it into your own hands.

Now is when Advertising is key. First you must begin with a Platform, which basically talks about your Ideals, what you will provide the people, and why they should vote for you. Get that cleared, run it by a few people to see how you can improve, then begin with the advertising. Whether you want to run a news article, buy some advertising spaces that are on the right side, on your countries forums, or just message it to people who are going to be eligible voters. You don't have to do it alone, get your friends or candidates from the other region to help send some PM's and you'll return them the favor.

Just stick with your candidacy, be yourself, do not follow other peoples beliefs, and MAKE SURE your voice is heard.
