Hello all,

It is becoming increasingly obvious that the current market system is untenable in any long term sense. Managers should not be allowed to work in their own companies, or at the absolute most one. This was the problem with erep rising, overproduction and underconsumption of goods.

For example:
I can work in a market job at a food company and make 50 food for my salary.

As a manager, I can work in my company and make 50 food for just the cost of raising my wellness back up (for 10 wellness this comes to around 5.5 zar). Effectively, I can do this forever in 9 other food companies while fueling the process with 20 grain companies. In effect I can churn out 500 food per day and sell it at .12 zar, crushing all other and still making a slim profit. This floods the market can ruin a eSA's backbone, the food market.

This needs to change, and fast, or this whole game is in for a steep dive.

Naah. I thought this as well, but we've mainly got responsible people in eSA. Also there are only about 4 of us in country who are taking advantage of this issue.

I agree they need to change it, but well we'll wait and see.

Actually, admin are running scripts that buy goods from the market automatically. They didn't know how to reduce overproduction, so they got a bot to buy more things. :/

Proof Enbaros? Ari, I agree, soon we WILL see the eSA market become flooded. Even if very few people within eSA take advantage, we'll soon become a dumping ground for other countries. Until then, enjoy it!

It is hard to start up a company again as the market prices do not lend itself to being profitable. I have 12 jobs out and only 1 place taken!

We need better thoughts, but hey who ever claimed the ADMINs can think.

Maybe food prices and salaries will drop so much it won't be proffitable to produce for yourself anymore...?

We have been waiting for months for some of the changes to take place. Whatever happened to removing defense systems and hospitals from the game? I think it may take a little while for them to make changes again so soon. Especially because some players have spent a lot of gold and they will be dealing with a lot of angry people if they just remove it suddenly
