Fun with Spreadsheets for the New Companies

Day 1,269, 08:00 Published in Canada Canada by Etemenanki

With the release of the whole new company system and such, and the fact that I happened to actually be off today so found the time, I whipped up a spreadsheet with some examples of what all the new company stuff should do. These numbers are based off of the information provided to us over the past couple of days, and I can say that so far, they line up with the companies that I have in operation so the production values should be accurate.

You may need to click View Image to see it better. Also you could just use this link to go to the google docs version of it.

Type: This is the type of company and the name of it. I have grouped them together with their respective peers.

Cost: This is how much it costs to purchase each of these companies. The ones denoted in gold are ones that cost gold rather than CAD.

Cost in CA😨 Not all companies are in CAD, some are in gold. Using the current monetary market rate I have projected the relative worth in CAD that the gold used would cost.

Production: This would be how much is produced per work click.

Bonus %: This is the bonus used to determine how much is made. The first 100% is the just cause you always get 100%, the second 100% is because we have 5 food regions in Canada, and the other 120% is because of my worker level. YOUR % MAY BE DIFFERENT. If yours is higher, you make more money faster, if it’s lower, you make money slower.

Relative Cost: This is the cost in CAD divided by the Production numbers.

Profit: This is how much money you should make out of the company (assumes a 0 wage) if you sell at current market rates which are at the bottom. It also factors in the cost of the resources required to make the goods, plus has removed the 10% VAT from the price so is a true reflection on profits from sales.

Days to pay off: This is how many days of just pure selling it will take for each of these companies to pay for themselves. This can be drastically altered by a drop in the sales price and a large fluctuation in the CAD.

I hope this information helps anyone whom is considering purchasing any new companies.
