From the Desk of the Secretary of State, part deux!
Bradley Reala
Inside the Department of State
So, inside the DoS has been a bit quiet. I had been hoping to get started on a large scale expansion of the State Department, but things got in the way, so that's being pushed back a bit. I'm hoping to try again starting tomorrow, but things probably won't be in full scale expansion mode until Friday. If you want to help out, shoot me a PM, but as a few people have already found out, I don't yet have jobs for you. The easiest way to figure out what needs to be done is to come on IRC and idle with our ambassadors on #us-dos.
Japan
Japan still seems to be the big story. As many people know, the State Department was talking with the Japanese all last week, to get the Kyushu deal to go through. As expected Phoenix (which doesn't stand for anything, so I've decided to stop capitalizing it) rejected Dokomo's deal and the USA was allowed to move into China and begin the liberation process, and we've already done a good job.
I do want to give credit where credit is due, and to be very honest I think this person deserves a hell of a lot of credit. The person I'm talking about is Chysamere Goru, the Japanese MoFA, and a god send to Japanese/American relations. Chysamere probably slept less than I did to get this all in order (and that's saying something, because the Chief of Staff tells me that there are rumors I don't sleep anymore), and we really owe her for all that she did. Here's to Chysamere!
Ireland
So, the wargames with Ireland are ending now, that sucks. Ireland's economy just couldn't take all the embargoes against them, which is understandable. We're talking about getting new wargames, but nothing is certain yet. Luckily, if things keep going like they have been, the eUK will keep some wargames going on their dime. Unfortunately, that means I have to go ask for the Eastern Seaboard back every so often. That's gonna get old. >.<
Elsewhere
Australia is under attack, we've talked, we're obviously supporting them. Italy, France, and Ukraine have joined together in what seems to be their version of the Brolliance.
Congress
Well, I hate to do it to you all, but its that time of the month again (and no, I don't mean that I'm beginning to have mood swings). I'm running for Congress...again...Yeah. Tennessee, vote for me, thanks!
Join the State Department!
So, we're working on getting a massive effort together in order to really revamp the State Department, we need workers who are willing to do anything from update the spreadsheets, to organize, anything I tell them to do.
😉
If you'd like to help with the reorganization efforts PM me directly, but if you're looking to join an operation that's already pretty organized, you can join the CTF or become an ambassador.
To become an ambassador, go to the eUS forums, in this threa

State FTW!
We're trying to make this Department a well-oiled machine, and to do that we have to have the most current info possible, and volunteers willing to help keep it current.
Brad has a lot of great ideas, and they've only been pushed off due to the necessity of diplomacy. I look forward to assisting him in getting some of this off the ground. Definitely sign up or contact Brad if you'd like to help 🙂
Looking forward to hear about the DoS successes. \o
This is relevant to my interests.

Is it official state department policy to endorse congressmen or allow use of state department publications for campaigns? Not that you would not make a great congressmen but you should look for votes in your own paper.
That said good luck in Tennessee.
My mistake I assumed this was a state department paper from the title, I can see that this is your paper, sorry.
>Ireland's economy just couldn't take all the embargoes against them, which is understandable.
What??? But they've still got the eUK to trade with! ... Oh. Yeah. Nevermind, you're right. 😃
(lol)

Really, that's all Australia is worth to the US government now? A mention in the elsewhere section saying that "we've talked"? Talked about what, helping out an ally? Because the help that showed up was definitely just a token supplied with Q1 weapons.
I can't speak on behalf of the JCS, but from what I saw, the entire military made an effort to try and keep the region.
Trust me, we were all bummed that we couldn't have done more.
@Blue Holt - just looked at the battle stats for Western Australia. You fought 1 time for 59 damage. Meaning that you weren't armed with even a Q1. That is incredibly disappointing, considering your claim that the military made "an effort". Bare minimum for appearance sake is what was done.
