Dear allies,

France is currently at a diplomatic crossroads and each path has its pitfalls, shortcuts, and destination. While V2 and the total overhaul of the military module may redefine the rank of military major powers over eWorld (as "tanks" for example will have less decisive impact on battles), people in eFrance shows the will to make a choice about our placement on the diplomatic chessboard despite the inherit risk in moving his pawns in a highly unstable context. While the international failure of the Entente is more and more emerging, three options are open to us: revitalizing the Entente once for all, play our non-alignment strategy as we have always do (with advantages and disadvantages that we all know) or move closer to the alliance PHOENIX, who has supported us since our invasion by the Spaniards. However, this solution appears as invenvisageable until we have clarified our relations with both major countries of PHOENIX: Hungary and Indonesia. In my desire to push the closed doors, or opening those who struggle to do so, I wish peace to our relationships with these two countries so that, in time, our countries can work together smoothly sustained.

As French President, I wish today to send a message to these two countries that were once two of our most faithful allies.

Recently, the government Hungarians published an article arguing its position towards France on its entry in Phoenix. Currently, Hungary does not want eFrance enters PHOENIX. And they are right! The episode of RA has clearly showed that our two nations are not yet ready to trust each other and to have a mature and healthy relationship, without a battle of excessive egos. I understand your point of view, you said no to France in Phoenix but yes to a collaboration with France and I respect your choice. Indeed, we have the same opinion in France because we will not ask to integrate PHOENIX until such controversies are taking place between our two countries, which will inevitably result in controversial dissensions similar to those that have caused the downfall of our ancient alliance, PEACE-GC . And as you, we do not want to relive this episode.

Anyway, it is important to state its objections and to sit together around a table to deconstruct our problems. We must begin a diplomatic process between our two countries to resolve our dispute through a thorough discussion. We really hope to organize this meeting soon, the ball is in your court. We have never been reluctant to fight for you, especially when you undergo the attack of Eden, we made a lot of damage in battles such as Central Hungary. Once immersed in the action, we come to work so well together. Let's improve that.

About Indonesia, we have witnessed an exchange of articles in the media beetween our two nations in the past days with the intervention of a former SG PHOENIX but also the Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ostin. The problem with the Indonesians bring back our memory to several months ago, at a time when I was not even a player of eRepublik, so let me give you a quick summary.

Several months ago, our president, Lyne Faynel, involved a part of our army in the war between you and Malaysia. In fact, she had heard that you wanted to invade that country and residing in the tradition of a defensive PEACE (an alliance in which France still belonged at the time), she wished to defend the smallest country without taking care of the opinion of our allies and our own people.

I want to tell you that we can easily understand your resentment towards us. However, you must understand that Lyne Faynel betrays us as much as you: she has stolen all the money in our country, destroyed our diplomatic relations and precipitated the Spanish invasion because of her poor tactical choices. We hate Lyne much more than you all do and we clearly admit that our former president should never had given such an order wich has lead to the attack of a longtime ally. The error of eFrance people was to elect LyneFaynel, and we regret it bitterly. Today, our entire population pays the price of the action of one person who has ruined our relationship for long. In the mean time, do not forget that we fought under the same flag not only before the incident (during the invasion of North America) but also after, during the defense of Hungary or Serbia or even the attack against Australia and South Africa.

Hungary, Indonesia and France, three countries that fought side by side on the battlefield for so many months ... We sincerely hope that some day all this will be far behind us, we can relive the experience of fighting side by side and in a coordinated manner on the battlefield.

Sincerely,
MyysT - President of France.
