My fellow Americans:

I am pleased to announce the complete and total victory against all the hostile invaders* who have occupied our country for nearly 3 months.


For the last week, our armed forces have fought tireless against Hungary, slowly winning resistance wars and preventing them from swapping into allied held regions.


Despite some mistakes (e.g. not voting yes on a Natural Enemy law) and some out of order RWs – Hungary entered the weekend with only a few regions remaining and without initiative. After winning a direct and resistance war on Friday night, they we down to two regions, both under attack. Two small problems, however - the attacks on those regions started in the middle of the night, and the attacker on Hungarian held Minnesota was Chile.


We had to fight all night long, without a legend bonus, culminating with an epic air battle and a hard fought D3 battle to get to 72 points. This apparently broke their resistance as it was followed by uncontested air battles in Florida and Minnesota for slam dunk victory.
Special thanks to Colin Lantrip, who stayed up all night, along with TheNorm, O Bass – not sure who else was fighting that night since I was asleep, but during the day (fighting for Chile, without Legend bonus or TP money), I saw strong efforts from Ariakis, Dark Creed, Mr_Pornstar,Thedillpickl, PilotPhil, Cthulhu, Super Nova, Iamnameless, Salinger, SethDuff, Boomerdude, GatorBait, Sir Charles Moncrieff, MollyMock (and more who I missed).




*excludes invaders who have flags that are RED WHITE AND BLUE. AMERICA!!!!!!!
