Following the suggestions put forth in response to our previous article, the SAP Gazette is happy to bring you Forum Fun, a regular feature highlighting some of the topics currently under discussion on the SAP Forum.

Some advice
Zagarius posted a good description of what it entails owning an eRepublik company. Also included is an XLS spreadsheet to take the guesswork out of running a company. To access it, have a look at our Company Guide.

Freedom of thought and speech
In the April Presidential Elections thread, the party's decision to endorse Bazti was discussed. The majority of contributors initially supported the endorsement, but as the candidates' media statements and platforms became better defined, it became clear that Jizzie would be the preferred choice of the party members.

This discussion shows that the SAP welcomes debate. It is clear that they will not require their members to meekly toe the party line, and would never prohibit members from thinking and speaking out.

Interviews
Zagarius announced the publication of a few more of his Innovative Interviews, with some of the country's active party presidents participating (Howard Roan, Piet Faassen and Ryan Dagari).

Party President Elections
There have also been lively discussions around the appointment of a Vice President and the process to be followed in electing the next Party President. Our current Party President, Piet Faassen, is unfortunately not available for re-election. The two main contenders at the moment are Zagarius and Whiteheart.

While discussing the party's platform, Whiteheart described the SAP thus:The best of both worlds: We want to take the good things from both the FA and BLF and create something even better!
