In response to the food shortage and the rapid increase in Q1 food prices in particular 1000 food has been placed on the Canadian market for .8CAD each. From the Ministry of Industries emergency food supply.
This is a short term fix for a long term issue, message your home region's congressmen and demand they propose the tax changes already passed on the forums so every Canadian can have access to low cost food!
Ask them if they have used both of their proposals and if they haven't make sure they do!
I, as a Wild Card congressmen, have used both proposals and every congressmen should be active and commenting on the critical discussion taking place on the forums.
Make sure you also demand that all attractive canadian women where the swimsuit in this article's picture. Congress has that power!

The government is ready to solve this food problem almost the minute that the tax reforms are complete.
Well we have technically solved it now with our release of lots of cheap food. But I mean we want to solve it a different way...

Phew, tomorrow was my last day with food, and I didn't want to spend a fortune on food, though gifts are still sky rocketing in price. 1/2$...
Glad this has been started for food though, and hopefully it'll force foreigners, and company's in Canada to lower their prices.
We have lots of gifts too. If things get extremely bad then we can release cheap gifts too
