Join the new world

Tonight, I will be continuing this announcement to the whole country to give idea on our future setting, and changes you might be experiencing in the future (If the congress or my cabinet aren’t too hostile.) Yesterday, I had left off with Economy. There are still many things I would like to say about economy, and debate how I believe some of those things I had mentioned with be better than other’s suggestion, but if I do that, It will take forever, and not all of the important topics which must be addressed cannot be addressed. Thus I must continue on, and move to other big topics.

Tonight, I will be addressing about the current military status of eJapan, and our future plans. Military is one of the big three most important aspect of Game, which erepublik was designed for, and It is, in my own humble opinion, very important topic we must discuss about, even some may feel military is most absurd and wasteful aspect of the game. While some may argue military only waste money and pulls money from government which could have been invested to other location such as economy, I must argue otherwise. Military is indeed something of grave importance, especially in trouble and conflict filled world of today. In this world, it is impossible to live in harmony, and there is always war, or sense of cold war which may spark wars in future. In order for our countries continued existence, and to make sure to retain our land for the future generation, we must be able, and be willing to defend our motherland, when we are in trouble. And to do that, we must be prepared.

Although I my specialty isn’t military, and my strength lie in economy as some of the Japanese citizens had dubbed me as “Tycoon” of Japanese market (can’t remember who), I will be doing my best to address the necessity and to cover this very important issue for Japan.

Why do small country as Japan need Military force?
Even for country which is small and poor, must be able to defend our land when they are in trouble, or being attacked by foreign countries. Even if there is only few possibility of being attacked, we must treat this possibility we care, and must be prepared to tackle this possibility. As for Japan, we are surrounded by many possible hostile or large nations, which could in future, if they are bored, take advantage of us to extend their border. I stand for Japan, and I personally want our national motherland, our main islands, intact from foreign aggression, and always be controlled by citizens of Japan who cares for future of this land.

Another dire reason is another main reason for need of military force for Japan. Our country still retain many regions of the Korean peninsula, and many of our citizens have investments, companies, residence, or other important thing of Value within those conquered land. They are very susceptible to Rebellion for freedom, and in those times, when those hostile populations with idea of rebellion do come to start unneeded trouble, we will be in trouble unless we are prepared. Also, in the world such as now, where country is eager for war, diplomacy, to some degree, is dependent on the military capacity of the country. Unless we as a country is able to provide adequate defense to our country by ourselves, there is no way that we be accepted equally into the face of the world. Rather, we will continue to stay as poor beat down small country.



Military Force: Cost and Organization

Military force is very hard, and time taking things to up keep. They require continued training, continued activity, and continued reliance. In a government and country like ourselves, where we have deficit in our treasury, and have thin funds, and many places which require money, military force must suffer the damage, and be kept cheaply as possible. Thus we need help from all citizens of Japan to help us, help your country, and help yourself, by training every day, and to participate actively in our eJapan forum and to communicate with our Secretary of Defense, King B, and Army General, InfernoSD.

In our country, the current viable plans, is that we, the government try to fund for moving ticket and Q1 weapon in a war. If we try to get other stuff donated out to our soldiers, in case of war, the cost will be too much, and our country will go bankrupt (sadly we are in danger of bankrupt even now.) With this said, I believe we must limit our military activity greatly to self defense, and for our self interest, unless our allies are in dire help, which could negatively, affect us. However, for soldiers, more rank they have, the more damage they deal. Thus, we must make sure we have 1 or 2 person with high skill which we may, from time to time send aboard to raise their ranks. Although due to the cost of such operation, we must limit those to only few. However, they still must be taken to consideration if we wish to continue to develop our army.

As for defense system, our government does not have sufficient money to invest into much cost operation. We currently have Q1 Defense system being built, and it will most likely be placed into some place within Japanese main land as few boost. Our old Q5 defense system is still stuck in Korea, and is actively trying to find buyer. As soon as someone buys it, we may make enough money to upgrade our Q1 defense system. As for myself, I have no plan of expanding our defense system to Q5. I believe making Q5 for small country like Japan is waste of money, time and labour. We will not need Q5 any time soon, and building it takes too much time to be put to best use. Rather, I think we should make our defense system, once we have money, to Q3. At the state of Q3, it will be high enough Quality to have affect, and also can be built quicker, and without the workers losing too much wellness. Also, it will be much cheaper to start, and cheaper to fund. I believe this is best future option for Japan, and Hope others feel this way as well.

As for organization I currently trusts the plan King B, and InfernoSD is working on, will work the best. We must have some 10-20 group members who have high strength and rank to be organized with regular check in, to make sure we have those high end line of defense. As for others, I am lead to believe we only use them in case there is war in our land, and only then.



What is the Future Plan for the government?
Our current plan is to continue with King B’s process of organizing the army. I believe King B is working hard on it, and trying to make the best out of it, since he has been working on it, for more than month now. It is future plan for government that we continue to take more neutral approach to not engage in too many wars, and continue to use our army for self defense. Also, As a member of peace, It is my hope, that we be able to send some of our soldiers, maybe 1-3 into some of those operations, so we can participate within Peace, and also to raise the rank of our soldiers.

Army must continued to be supplies with low budget, however, It is future hope of our government, that with help of our citizens and our businesses, we are able to still maintain a working, and active army, which can defend our country at least from small rebellion within our Korean peninsula.

In conclusion, again, there are many issues that revolve around these whole military difficulties, and one of the most troubling one, again, is the deficit of our treasury, and our lack of funding. Since our government lacks money, and most likely is currently poor as ordinary citizens, we are not able to do much with great speed. Everything in erepublik costs gold, and it is something which our government is lacking badly right now.

On the personal note, Today, I had considered and thought about ereligion for long time after anarki commented that there are too many ereligions that were being created. I myself, is currently very neutral regarding ereligion issue, and is quite open about it, and believe this add spice of fun into the game. I today, almost considered joining Protestant Haruhiism to help Tohru get religion going, and to expand it, since I do love the book Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and had read all volume which is out in Japanese, but In the end decided against it, since for erepublik, I myself have my own idea regarding my own belief (I literally wrote the message to Tohru asking to join the decision, but in the end, exited from the page, before sending it). I Personally, in all of the religion within erepublik, favours Dioism, and Protestant Haruhiism, and is currently leaning more towards the Protestant Haruhiism. However, at the current time, I had chose, to continue to not be affiliated to religion, and take neutral views regarding this issue.

By the way, If you are currently not affiliated to no ereligion like myself, go and read both Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and Book of Dio now. They are both good read, and definitely worth spending your time on.
