Join the new world

The time after great conflicts, struggles and upheavals are often the best times for a nation to reflect on itself and its choices. eRepublik and more importantly the eUS has played host to a recent grouping of events that has dramatically changed views and perceptions of where we are moving as a nation. In the past month we saw witness to a dramatic Presidential election, the devastation of two independent and peaceful nation (India and China), and a dramatic world war. One of the most important aspects of this game that have played into these struggles are the two major alliances, PEACE and Atlantis. The eUS threw itself in with Atlantis and the results were evident in the outcome. Poor communication, a mixed policy and lack luster military performance were the results. So now we have to ask ourselves the question of whether the eUS is in the correct position and more importantly whether the current alliance structure is correct. This is why I am personally calling for the eUS to abandon Atlantis and form a new alliance.
Now you may ask yourselves why this is a logical course of action. My answer is simple, the best effective alliance is one that brings together stronger nations with uncompromising ideals and a appreciation for liberty and weaker nations looking to grow and become future powers. I believe that at heart the eUS has no intentions to rule over another eNation. We have no long term Imperialistic wishes. This belief is quite contrary to the goals held by other members of our alliance mainly Sweden and Romania. In PEACE there appears to be a similar split. Some countries in that alliance have become disgusted with the despicable actions of Iran and Turkey. I believe that a alliance founded on the central goal of not imposing its views or outside beliefs on other nations will be much stronger than either existing one.
I believe that the other central goals of this new alliance should be promoting economic prosperity and solving issues through diplomatic solutions. I admit that both of these seem like wishful thinking and unrealistic distortions of this game. But in reality both are quite feasible here's how:

In a few weeks we will see Chile become the 46th eNation. I am confident that it will get off to a roaring success. However even with optimistic starting populations numbers and a strong population growth rate Chile will have many months before it can stand on its legs. Chile will be the perfect opportunity to prove that nations working together can promote economic prosperity in a cooperative alliance and prevent war through sound diplomatic solutions. First stronger nations such as the eUS must push for MPP's with Chile. This will give the initial Chilean government foreign legitimacy and stability abroad. Second these same nations should work towards long term trade deals with Chile. These trade deals will be focused on bringing much needed goods into Chile early on. Finally entrepreneurs and wealthy citizens form these countries should invest in burgeoning business's in Chile. This investment will create jobs and bring in much needed cash to build up the country. The profits made form this investment will flow back to the originating nations this will stimulate all countries in this economic alliance. This combination of older established countries working with new and developing countries can be continued in a constantly revolving cycle. This will insure that this new alliance will reflect a stable well maintained agreement that will help to end a long train of abuses. Furthermore the combined economic, political and military pressure of a well established and stable alliance will allow us to work towards a more peaceful and less ignorant eWorld. Hopefully Chile can provide a template for an alliance of countries helping one another through mutual protection, investment and partnership.
