Few things for Bulgaria to take into consideration

Day 917, 10:20 Published in Bulgaria Spain by Urokhtor

Lately general feelings in Bulgaria towards Phoenix have been ill because of Phoenix's policy "strong rules the weak". I'm sure you all remember how Serbia made your citizens to move in Liaoning in order to get its wall up while they decided to help Romania and wiped you out of the map at the same time closing you out of the war with Romania. I know you're not too fond of Romania, but they did what they did because strategic aspects demanded it. Serbia and Turkey just plainly harmed you with their selfish attempts to cover Turkey's back by blocking Romania from reaching Asia - which it never intended to do.

A couple of months ago Bulgaria had about 14 k citizens, but Phoenix's policy of not letting you have any fun of your own caused your population to drop as low as 7 k, which harms badly your economy and pursuit for power. This downhill leaves you little changes with being influential in Phoenix, because few big countries tell others what to do. Now you can basicly just wait for orders to come from an upper rank to move your citizens to defend their territories. But shouldn't Bulgaria get its share for fun? I think it should.

Maybe this would be the right time to reconsider your the state of your country. Do you really want to stay in an alliance that is losing on every front and controls your actions? Wouldn't it be better if you could breath freely and decide what you want to do with your country? I don't think Romania has any real bad feelings about Bulgaria. The reasons for conflicts in past are purely strategic. I know that IRL Romania is much closer to Bulgaria than Serbia. That is why your situation would also be better in a different alliance. Friends tend to support each other, not oppress and force them to blindly obey their commands.

Remember mihail.cazacu's article "Better every day as a lion than every time as Phoenix's lap-dog"? I think that this topic tells you enough. Bulgaria would have great chances for a baby-boom Without Phoenix. EDEN doesn't need Bulgaria to be its buffer from Turkey. Instead it could give you the keys for a baby-boom with supporting your own intentions for possible advances. How could it feel for you if you could attack your enemies with strong support? I know EDEN would have many ways to help you get your fun.

The reason why I wrote this article was to get Bulgarian citizens and rules to think what would be the best option for their people. Personally I feel sympathy for Bulgaria. As a president I've been in a situation when a huge power tries to crush weakers. Luckily that time EDEN was there to prevent it from happening. But how about Phoenix? Last time showed that they made things just worse for you. Fighting with Romania would've been good for your country. Maybe you could've even had a babyboom, but no. Serbia interfered and prevented that. So consider these facts Bulgaria. I wish the best for you.
