Fantasy Fighter League [FFL] DOI Initiative

Good day to you, I am here to announce the Fantasy Fighter League, a Department of the Interior initiative that is currently being privately funded by Herr Vootsman, Krapis, King Taco, King Harambe, the artist formerly known as Jimmy Cincinnati and myself for its initial month.

The rules are posted below. It is Fantasy Football with an eRep twist. Pick your team but make sure you pay attention to the combined strength because the input form won’t. DOI agents will review every entry on Sunday and will PM anyone who falls outside the rules. Make sure you respond and correct your team or your entry will be removed.

Let’s discuss why you want to enter the FFL every week. Every non-disqualified entry will be paid 1k cc. First place wins 50k cc (100k for week 1 thanks to a generous donation from Blande), second place gets 25k cc and third place gets 10k cc. Make sure you pay attention to that tie breaker question. It may become the difference in finishing in the money or just getting that 1k.
Entries can be submitted using this google form (NOTE the form does not contain strength values for your chosen fighter, you better pre-plan your team before filling the form out): https://forms.gle/riaibiuezdFwJYyx8 or by sending a PM with your 8 players to WhydoIbotherToo . Remember that you must submit the entries no later than the end of day Saturday.

You will draft 8 players from a predefined list of 50 eligible fighters.

Each eUS Citizen can enter only one time per week.

Your team cannot exceed 2 million strength combined.

Player selection must be done before day change Saturday night (top 50 fighters from the previous weekly challenge damage leaderboard will be used.)

Damage will be tracked Tuesday through Monday (eRep Weekly Challenge time)

Your teams ground damage for the week is your raw score.

Points will be awarded in decreasing order from 20-1 with first getting 20, 2nd getting 19 and so on.

Top 3 for each week win prizes.

There will be a tiebreaker every week. One of the 50 eligible fighters will be picked and you will need to guess that person’s total kills for the week, closest to the number WITHOUT going over.

If there are issues with your entry, the Commissioner (WhydoIbotherToo) will PM you in game on Monday. You are responsible for responding to that DM PRIOR to daychange on Monday or your entry will be void. Issues could include, but are not limited to, you picking the same person for your team more than once, your team having exceeded the Strength Cap, you forgot to answer the tie breaker question.

All disputes will be settled by the League Commissioner, WhydoIbotherToo, and a panel of judges: Krapis, Blande, Dinnyin and the current DOI leader King Harambe.

For the Official Recor😛 When I started this as FeMU during one of my CP terms, it was George Pumpkinette's idea. He was the first commissioner of FeMU and the idea would have worked more spectacularly at the time if we had better tech. I hope the current administration is able to utilize the DOI site for some back-end wizardry so that George's idea can finally come to its fullest fruition.
