Facing the Consequences of your actions

Hello there my fellow internet friends! Long-time no see. The situation in Ireland the past while has been full of drama and tension internally and against our arch enemies UK.
For those who don’t me I’ve been a fairly quiet player working behind the scenes in the military department over the years of my playing time. The reason I left for a while was due to exam year and by June I shall be back to play my part in this game again.
The Opportunistic
MUFC992 is well known for his daft and optimistic decisions. The controversial move of joining CUA has led to Argentina requesting our help to assist them in their baby boom project. This decision has brought short term entertainment but the long term picture was another wipe. MUFC ignored the potential threat that Poland possess so decided to start dancing with his new buddies in CUA. What was in it for us? Well basically nothing but a few useless regions for a week.
When Poland was finished with its business in Europe it turned to the situation in UK and laughed its way through Ireland. Although what I found amusing was that MUFC thought he was in the better position to start demanding peace terms and from reading his logs it tells us that he is incompetent when it comes to negotiating terms. Instead of doing all the diplomacy himself why didn’t he delegate the situation to a better candidate in the Foreign Affairs Department? Isn’t that their job? He stated in his logs that Ireland won’t be wiped and shall we have a look at the map now?
Not very pretty isn’t it?
Oh crap.. So what can we do to fix this, Ian?
The only way out of this unorganised mess is through change. There are intelligent and competent candidates willing to put themselves forward this coming election and it’s time for new fresh ideas to be brought to the table and rethink of our military strategic position.
My advice for MUFC is use the head for thinking and feet for dancing.

There were two choices...
Still be a boring country who never do anything and let our internal fights kill ourselves or attack UK and have some fun. I think it was funny and I don't have any regret about this war. To be more precise, I'd do everything same now again.
I'll keep fighting the Brits, what will you do it's your choice.
We always fight the Brits indirectly through MPPs and it isn't logical for our country size and population to fight directly against the Brits. Your idea of "fun" was short lived and that idea back fired into a wipe.

Why didn't you work with the UK to get us into Scandinavia?
If you used the 100g you were going on about for NI to rent a region of the UK for a month, we could have attacked someone then if we were losing just RW the region back to the UK and we wouldn't be wiped?
But ah no you go and do what CUA tells you and continue a war when even the newest noob could see we were going to be wiped.

They've been fighting for us over past several weeks Nogin, do you expect your allies to help you if you don't help them?
I think you'll find that we fought for them over the past several weeks, if they were such good allies, how'd we get wiped?, were they out to dinner when it happened?, or had they better things to do than fight for us.

Yes and it proves they too started a fight they could not possibly win/hold onto for any significant time to discuss the UK surrender terms and allow a dignified exit for them and us.
It was foolishness to join forces with such a weak coalition against the uk, when it was obvious to all that Ireland being wiped would be the result.
Being wiped was no excuse for not fighting for Ireland the game has MT's
Nogin MUFC knew it was a stupid thing to join us with CUA, he did it for his own ego not for the good of the nation. It was the same when he tried to put us in ASGARD, neither would be of benefit to Ireland but would to his ego.
Also I remember during the referendum Columbia was wiped at the time and MUFC saying. They are wiped so they wont have any big battles coming up so can help us...well where were they when we got wiped?

Also, Brits never offered the peace where they would give us our regions back for free. What you did is you took the part of log that would make me look stupid for not accepting peace where they would give our regions back. Anyone with half brain would see that.

From my reading of the logs it shows your lack of diplomacy skills as you didn't discuss it in a civil manner which is why you couldn't reach a compromise.
I'll discuss in a civil manner when their peace offer is serious 🙂

Yes I may have use the wrong terminology but I was using the bird as a trolling humour for a pair of tits 😉
and btw mufc next time study a map. you share the same timezone with everybody that lies on a vertical line with you. thereafter europe will share with china, africa etc whereas argies will mostly share with usa. in short by the time the uk attack on us was over most of the argies rocked up. therefore you should have agreed on them committing to one RW from atleast 10 - 12 PM which is traditionally prime time for a europe-usa based game.
