Facebook ad
witherd1
The facebook ad has been running for a few weeks now, and I have already spent all donations received, and then some.
Over the life of the ad:
418,861 Impressions
136 Clicks
10 Actions
0.032% CTR
$136.41 Spent
$0.33 CPM
$1.00 CPC
418,861 impressions means the article has appeared that many times to people on the facebook site. 136 people have clicked on the ad, at a cost to me of $1 per click.
So the good news is the ad is getting out there, and people are clicking on it, but after that we may be failing in actually getting people to hang around and play.
In any case, I am looking for additional donations to keep this ad running longer. I might decrease the cost per click to make the money last longer hopefully, and see what effect it has on the ad and its impressions.
Once again, if you are willing and/or able to help out, please Paypal donations to witherd1@gmail.com, and send me a message letting me know you put money it, so I know the money showing up is for this purpose.
Cheers.

$1 per click on a facebook ad? what demographics have you tagreted it at? it sounds very expensive.
When I am home I will be donating and also writing some articles/podcasts to help newbs.
Great effort thanks!
The URL you are trying to access is considered to be malicious!
Make it 1c per click and spread at all times, Like when we had erep ads i got better coverage at less gold per click, It isn't a premium product therefore doesn't need premium prices ; )
Yeh, I have it set to $1.78 bid, but being charged at $1.00. The demographic set is Australians, Gaming, and Education/Teaching. I tried to include politics, but it cut the demographic down too much.
Won't let me donate.
thanks for taking this up witherd, I've sent you some more to help.
Great work witherd1!
Reduce the cost and target Australian, Communist 😃
^ LOL
Callum, send me a PM telling me what the problem is... and just check the spelling of the email.
Well, you certainly believe in putting tour money where your mouth is witherd.
That is a generous & fantastic effort \o/
When I click the link eRep says it is too malicious to go to.
infin it works by the (more narrow the demo > a concentrated audience > yields the highest interest) = more expensive the click.
LOL Callum it's not a link it's an e-mail address. You have to go to PayPal and use the address as who you're sending the payment to.
ehh all this payment stuff makes me confused : (
