The Belgian Clash for Congressional Seats is usually fought in eBrussels. But not this time, it seems most parties have spread some of their prominent candidates into the less populated regions of eFlanders and eWallonia. That doesn't take away the fact that eBrussels is still a region where every vote can count. As expected, BfB took almost half of the seats. Altough RB has 36 votes less than BfB they took 4 seats which is only 1 less than BfB. Free Belgium saw a quick victory in Kabouter-Wesley and Rod Damon followed in his steps. KerberosRex who ran for the BRP, successor party of Neenjas and Umbrellas, did not manage to get his seat before the clock ran out. Danny Wilshire from the BCP did manage to win his wildcard seat. In the beginning it seemed he was in for an easy victory, but in the end it got pretty close.

eWallonia is always an odd region because of being a less crowded area. Most of the BfB candidates were 'anciens' who took a fair share in votes. Res Belgica only had one candidate in eWallonia who managed to win his seat quite early. FB has its eWalloon seat in the person of Thore Thorenson who has proven himself a wise congressman before. A nice victory for the communists in eWallonia with the return of the Theneka and the ever-mysterious Radakovic Nemanja. Also BRP managed to get its one seat in eWallonia.

Only twelve candidates had to fight for 9 seats which made everyone think they had a fair chance of getting in congress. Party leader of BfB, ThomasRed managed to get his seat in eFlanders, together with some other known or less-known faces. Runner-up is Free Belgium with 3 known faces in eBelgian politics. Also Res Belgica managed to get its wanted seat with their party leader Aldous Zamiatin runnning. Counterstriker of the BRP who ought himself a good winning chance did not manage to get his vote in the last couple of hours in the elections. The communists had no candidates running in Flanders.

Belgium for Belgians
As previous terms have proven, BfB is not a monolithic party with a lot of party discipline. They did not manage to do crazy stuff with their absolute majority in the April elections. Now they have lost that majority but still prove to be the biggest party in eBelgium. This party is obviously the center party in eBelgium and it seems everyone is invited to run for congress. During the elections an incident happened on the forum with Xgentis Lempereur blaming its own party leaders of favouring some of its candidates over the others.
The Free Belgium Party
Having absolute majority in March, they now have fallen back to six seats. Most of their congressmen are wise and active on the forum and have proven themselves as people with ideas. They seem to have shaken off the image as being a party with international interests. They even made a last campaign move with stating people should vote who they want to vote for and not blindly follow instructions of the party.
Res Belgica
One of the big winners of the elections. They managed to get from 2 to 6 seats. Probably a well deserved victory which was promoted by the activity of their congressmen, good results in congress analysis and a lot of promotion. It was exciting until the end as in the last minute, they managed to get Helviro into congress. They have a promising party program, the question is if they can fulfill it.
Belgian Research Party
The more rightist party in Belgium managed to get one seat in the person of Mudduck95. Let's see if his one-man-faction can make a change in eBelgian congress. One of their most prominent candidates, counterstriker, already announced leaving the country to gather experience and hopes to continue his career in eBelgium in a not too distant future.
Belgian Communist Party
On the other side of the spectrum is the Belgian Communist Party under leadership of Theneka, who got back from his eNL adventure. His party managed to get three seats. For them it was exciting until the end as Theneka managed to get his seat in the last 5 minutes of the election.
Facts:
- eBelgium is polarizing. The first right congressman is now in congress and 3 communists managed to do the same. That promises heavy debates in congress.
- The party landscape is finally scattering. 3 months ago the elections were ran with take-over insults, while now, the parties seem to have found their place on the left-right continuum and more than 2,5 parties manage to get into congress. A victory for democracy.
- The current congress appears more left, especially on the socio-economic scale. Res Belgica has some social-democratic initiatives that will probably be backed up by the communists and some BfB members. The more liberal president, Apotygma, will have to cohabitate with a congress that might not always support him.
- The election has proven once again that elections are won with boobs. Not with a good congress reputation.
- Thore Thorenson managed to get exactly the same seat with his 20th place.
- There were more than 150 voters less than last month. The exams? Foreign exodus?
- I should have been studying while making this analysis.

excelent report. Is it normal though that the last image is the electionresults from april?
Fixed. Thanks!
Nice report!
The link with 'Big image' isn't fixed yet 😉
Great article voted!
nice report!! vote
Great job I love it!
Indeed it's good for eBelgium to be more than a two-and-a-half party system
Congrats to all of us
nice analysing!
What Hugo said.
And great job, R!
very nice
Though I do believe the FB message was not to follow the instructions of ANY party.
I like the last fact 😉
But a very nice analysis!
hmm maybe next campaign i should change my avatar to a boob avatar? lolz
>Though I do believe the FB message was not to follow the instructions of ANY party.
Yup, that was the point. Some of the BfB's orders were almost offensive.
Great article BTW, and congratz to the new congress 🙂
i'm voting for this as my name was in it XD
Nice and interesting analysis.
Congratulations to the members of the new Congress.
Superb analyzing, Reaussou 😉
Very nice article. I love more lefties in the congress.
It's overly dramatic to say that the BfB party name containing vote orders were offensive. Parties all over the eWorld switch their name to voting orders on election day.
Excellent report. nicely done. also quite objetive (if that words exist in english )
and @ BfB party, i don't care anymore it feels like i am only wasting my time wanting to have an active congress, rather then have the most seats and keep active people out of congress while you replace them with ignorant people who don't care and don't put effort in our eCountry at all.
next elections i will stress this very hard !
up with this article and down with Belgium For Belgians
Shouting "down with BfB" is a blanket statement. I could say that all of BRP are complainers who announce they will leave the country after losing an election but I know mudduck is a good guy 🙂
