Exchanging With National Bank of Japan Helps Everyone
Ryoushi
This is a common sense tip that will hopefully be informative to newer players, and thus helpful for the entire country:
When you go to the Money Market to turn gold in yen, and see several offers that are exactly the same exchange rate, scrolling down and selecting the National Bank of Japan's offer, means the government makes money, and in turn, the country gets stronger.
According to Minister of Finance Vorph, 95% of the government's monthly profits come from selling yen on the Money Market. Last month's government surplus of 600 gold is directly correlated to our finance minister making sure that the National Bank was consistently selling yen to our citizens. We can help the government in this effort, by taking a few extra seconds and exchanging with the National Bank, instead of just selecting the first offer on the list!

Yeah, this is how North Korea was able to pull in about 400 gold a month during the first version even though we only had about 350 active citizens.
Also, if the government is receiving enough income from currency conversion, it gives it incentive to drop local taxes more, which benefits everyone.
I believe we already have low tax.
If we're paying tax then IMHO it can always be lowered!
Makes sense. Now I'll go exchange my 5 gold to Yen to support Japan, what have YOU done for your country today!?
Vote Dokomo!
other countries pay 15% income tax, 5% VAT.
Japan definitely has one of the lowest tax.
