- COMMUNITY
a word used everywhere and by many, if not everyone. Including Plato.

But what do we mean with community? The society here, isolated in the virtual environment or the community out there, behind the monitors.

In this article we will focus mainly on the virtual meaning of the word.

The frequent use of this word, garnished with the actions against this community, committed by Plato, makes it seem more like a thunderous propaganda. The implementation of Plato Foundation was a short-lasting spark of hope, which sadly didn’t manage to touch the majority of the players.

But let me tell you more about another case in which Plato was at the threshold of finding a solution to the problem but apparently unconsciously failed to foresee the true potential of his innovation and immediately put the hopes of the community to an end.

I think at the beginning of March this year, we suggested to the administrators the introduction of a new 5 euro pack, which would’ve allowed old and new players to exchange power. Of course, the two players would’ve had to buy the already mentioned pack, which would’ve made the real price 10 euro.

The idea was to make the young people feel significant and empathetic on the battlefield and almost as strong as the old eRepublikans. We should not neglect the fact that this could’ve brought more damage on the battlefield which would’ve resulted in bigger amounts of spent weapons, food supplies, EBs and others. Of course, we received the traditional "copy-paste" response that our proposal will be brought to the game support’s attention.

Our astonishment was huge when on 1.04, in spite of being April the 1st, this option was introduced. Apparently Plato has not seen a lot of old accounts shouting on the game wall, that they are willing to exchange strength with weaker accounts or even worse - he underestimated the potential of this new function and its potential to unite the society and retain many new and weak players in the game. The result is obvious:

We are aware that WE are the society in this game and not somebody else. But as in the real life, in order for a society to exist, although a virtual one, a good climate is essential. Something that the admins seem to fail to create, as seen lately.

And when the last spark of hope gets extinguished, there will only be one possible outcome…
