Everyone Pray for The Philippines!

Day 2,182, 00:56 Published in USA USA by Ronald Gipper Reagan

While many here who are fueled upon hatred and thrive upon their desire to hurt others run around speaking evil words, I wanted to raise attention to the devastating typhoon that is impacting The Philippines. I want to encourage everyone to help however they can, or just to pray for all the people there who are affected by this. It is a bit of an open secret that our party is basically where all the people with a strong faith in God in the eUSA go, so I know that we will be doing what we can on that front, and I hope everyone else will too.

Sometimes Truth shows up in unsuspected places.

LordRahl2 Day 2,183, 07:27

This is just politics to him cubby.

Cubby Day 2,183, 09:02

My statement doesn't validate him, it validates Truth as being able to come through any conduit.

olivermellors Day 2,182, 05:55

Millions of prayers before the typhoon hit had the usual result. Millions will continue to pray in solidarity because of the enormous suffering of millions of our fellow human beings. There will be no intercession. Thank heaven and do what you can to help.

DylanBAS Day 2,182, 06:30

To Pray: To make a request to the creator of the universe that the normal laws by which all things abide be breached by the request of a single petitioner.

Prayer allows you to think you have done something while you have done nothing. If you care, go to the Philippines and hand out clean water.

Hostilian Day 2,182, 08:44

Hm. Braking the laws of physics for fun? Interesting. How can I acquire that ability?

What sad is that RGR is taking a terrifying and horrible event like the typhoon that is hitting the Philippines something that he probably doesn't care about to try and sway positive public opinion towards him!

Boris The Communist
Boris The Communist Day 2,182, 09:33

Think about it, do you really think that would work

Mr. Mirage
Mr. Mirage Day 2,182, 10:27

No that's why its pathetic that he would go so low as to do something like this

Stefani J. Germanotta
Stefani J. Germanotta Day 2,182, 15:08

Dont vote because RGR is an ass.

Sheppherd Day 2,182, 09:42

If you really want to help those in the Philippines, send aid not prayers.

Falsehood, and you know it

You're not a Christian. Your actions prove otherwise.

Eric Drakkson
Eric Drakkson Day 2,182, 11:30

I AM a Christian, and it's absolutely disgusting that you'd use Christianity to try and save your floundering PTO attempts. Congratulations, you've hit a new low I thought absolutely impossible.

Artela Day 2,182, 16:55

For once RGR actually had me LOL for real there. The guy who stalks women in RL, the guy who makes threats against people in RL over a browser game, the guy who will do anything and say anything to make a grab for power condemns me? I can't think of a higher accolade. I know which of us will be found more wanting on the day, and it will not be me RGR. Look to fix your own house before looking to fix others.

Ronald Gipper Reagan

Hilarious coming from the one who calls a self-described Christian hater like Fluffer a dear friend.

Beneath all the crazy, I'm a real human being, not some sociopath who will use every emotional play to try to realize my sick, desperate obsession with becoming president in this game! Really!"

Disregarding all the angsty autists, 250,000 people die a day, this disaster only killing an extra 4%. It is hardly worthy of specially attention, especially since they had sufficient warning. I mean, what gives the dead Filipinos edge over everyone else who dies, maybe to more unfair causes?

Ronald Gipper Reagan
Ronald Gipper Reagan Day 2,182, 11:03

If you're 100 years old and die.... that's to be expected? That's the difference.

Sanic the Hedgehog
Sanic the Hedgehog Day 2,182, 11:17

Mugabe, 14 and Nbango, 11 are blown apart by one of the hundreds of Islamist attacks that happen each week and die... that's to be expected? Now I truly see the light! Do you pray for the hundreds of dead Christians and Muslims that are killed every week? No? Then praying to God over a single, small, incident is worse than not at all.

Sheppherd Day 2,182, 11:09

Have you ever wandered why when these same category of storms hit the United States, very few die? I think with Hurricane Sandy, only 14 died (not sure, will need to look up) compared to the 10k in the Philippines that died. The United States has better infrastructure than countries like the Philippines. For them, just because they had warning in advance doesn't mean they could do much about it. Poverty is a very critical issue in the Philippines and this too is also a factor as why so many people there die in these storms other countries can endure.

Just ranting =3

Sanic the Hedgehog
Sanic the Hedgehog Day 2,182, 11:11

The similar typhoon that recently hit India only killed 17 people, and they had the same amount of warnings as the Philippines, yet are poorer.

Ronald Gipper Reagan
Ronald Gipper Reagan Day 2,182, 12:13

why not join our party? 🙂

and Sandy was no where near as bad as this Typhoon.

The Philippines would be better off economically if still a US possession.

Stefani J. Germanotta
Stefani J. Germanotta Day 2,182, 15:10

Dont join RGR party.

Hostilian Day 2,182, 15:18

USA has by far less capita per square km than the Philippines. In USA you can drive to Boston and not care about the hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes and such. In Philippines you're stuck on an island and if you don't get the flight you are basically toast.

There is poverty also, of course, but even poor people can drive to mainland if there is a mainland to drive to (or get a bus/train to if they don't have a car).

Hostilian Day 2,182, 15:19

And I think everybody would prefer to live as a homeless person for a week than get killed by a typhoon or something.

jkeller4000 Day 2,182, 20:11

a week time in inda of usa a person can walk a mile or 30 or 40 if needed, or drive a care or ride a horse. phillipines! it takes more than a week to build a boat! it takes more than a week to find the wood to build a boat, it takes more than a week to get to safety. in the usa all a person needs is tow legs to move to some plave safe. phillipines do not have any place safe to ide from storms. ten miles in almost any direction is an ocean!

Sheppherd Day 2,182, 11:25

Using Wikipedia as a source, the average Indian makes double what the average Filipino makes a year. Also, India, the country that's launching a Mars mission sometime today being poorer?

Not only that, but the Philippines is nothing more than a group of islands, making them more prone to floods from such storm.

I do not trust your motives, but a message of compassion is needed, even if you get to take credit for it. I voted, grudgingly.

May any life (human or not) find less suffering somewhere along the road.

They have been good to me. I appreciate what the Feds have done for me. They welcomed me warmly and have been good friends. As has EZC. Both showed me a community where most everyone has been nothing but nice to me. So bringing up my current party is not exactly an insult.
