eUSA CONGRESS BREAKING NEWS - SoH has Resigned!! (or maybe voted out)

Day 3,739, 12:05 Published in USA USA by Carlos3652

Maybe not so breaking news if you have read Jimmy Cincinnati's news article where he gives his best "I quit" moment we have seen so far in eCongress this year.

What you may not have known by reading his article is how crazy things were. Now, you might have seen Gnilrap's article asking for you to go to sign up to the forums and witness the craziness for your self. BUT if you have reservations in doing so, I understand. Just note, that its popcorn worthy to do so.

Let's start with how we got to the "I quit" portion of the show. (For the record, all the information provided in this article has been made public and I will not be sharing any private information from Congress unless it has been declassified)

Day 3733 -

A discussion was brought forth in the forums by Congressman Evry establishing MULTIPLE points (5 in total) on why he felt that there should be a Vote of No Confidence on the Speaker.

Unverified reports and assumptions from anonymous sources who have no information about this gave me the following quotes for this story:

"Jimmy was a poor choice for the Speaker of the House position due to that fact that he had never held a deputy speaker position before."

"He was as green as you can get. I have no idea why people voted for him other than he is a great guy, but definitely slower than molasses in picking up what his role was supposed to be"

"Jimmy is great! I do not understand this witch hunt at all. It's like he pissed in everyones cereal this month and they want him out."

"Jimmy was a better choice than Phail Harmony / VT / Rosa / Etc, so no complaints here."

That being said, if you read through, you start getting the feeling that most Congressman felt bad for Jimmy, and while some might not have confidence in him, knew he was trying his hardest, and wanted him to succeed. There were multiple experienced Congressman helping him behind the scene to try and give him some heads up, and how to be a better speaker.

At this point in time, on that day, had everyone voted, Jimmy would have easily beat out this call for stepping down. And actually, a positive, that most Congressman agreed upon, was adding a more experienced Deputy Speaker "bob" to his team to help him until the end of the term.

Day 3737 - Sh*t hits the fan. Private stuff you can read about when declassified but mentioned in Jimmy's article somewhat:

Oblige Starts the Impeachment Vote thread. The vote lasts 24 hours. While the vote was underway and at a point where it did not look good for Jimmy. (Down 18-12, and likely to be impeached within the hour).

Jimmy gives his resignation.

Jimmy then designated bob the acting Speaker of the House, moving him up from his deputy role. Classy move and the right one.

NOW - there is a whole lot of back and forths and discussions on where Congress goes from here.

Tell me this is not worth signing up for? DO IT. Get involved. Its Fun.
