eTurkey's failures

I write this article in English, so everybody can read and understand too.

The failure of the country, administration and ethics of eTurkey, have reached a new low.

The humiliation is even greater.

And no it is not the treaty that is the problem.

Lets take it from the “beginning” :
Parts of Turkey have been occupied by Greece in the beginning of 2010 twice. One of these times the whole turkey got an IP ban. I remember back then how unfair seemed to continue the war, and so Greece although could win called for a unilateral ceasefire. I refer to this as response of some commends I read about how honorable the Greeks are.

The last time Greece occupied the whole Turkey, I remember article after article promising intikam or whatever you call it, “revenge” anyway. "Tik Tok", "we are coming and all the nice stuff". With the introduction of the natural enemy, Turkey immediately declared Greece and attacked for “revenge”.

They attacked and attacked and as they started getting defeated, we all discover yet again, that many eTurkish players cheated (!). What a surprise to the world that was! they got a whole Temp ban!!
Even as they were cheating they were still getting defeated. And with 3 regions left they invented a boycott/protest so now they can claim that they did not really lost. By the way the boycott finished with the occupation. Now there is no boycott...

At the same time Turkey had agreed to let eUSA pass through in order to get to eSerbia. This plan failed and some American super dooper dude got pist and tanked heavily for eTurkey…and… they still lost.

But for several days/weeks they could not rebel? They did, ….and we all saw Battal to tank against Turkey…. What’s up with that??

Occupied and miserable, working for low salaries and low health in most cases, the proud Turkish player was having a bad experience of the game.

Then this deal was announced. Under the circumstances the deal was good (in diplomatic terms) for Turkey. 3000g for the country, and occupation of 2 regions for some period that could not go over 2 months. The deal after the emotional response from Turkish players and some of their “allies” was canceled.

To summarize, eTurkey failures:
1. Attacked with no provocation
2. Boasted too much prior to attack without adequate preparation
3. Accepted cheaters and exploiters
4. Cannot handle defeat (fair and square)
5. Backstabbed allies (eSerbia)
6. Political instability and internal strife (Battal tanking against, not recognizing last CP etc)
7. Getting “influenced” by “allies” and “friends” into refusing their honor.
8. Dishonoring their signature, AFTER they have been allowed to liberate their frist region under the agreement.
9. And the biggest failure of all, THEY CANNOT SEE HOW MUCH THEY HAVE FAILED AS eSOCIETY/STATE.

Turkish friends this is not a jeering article, or trolling. This is the Greek (more or less) perspective. Nobody is perfect, in Greece we have our own problems from time to time.

But you need to take a deep, hard and honest look to your society, politicians etc and most of all to yourselves…. You deserve better. You can do better.

Unfortunately, under the current situation, I think the traumatic experience of the long term occupation maybe is the only solution for your country, until the healthy forces of Turkey get stronger.

For me any Turkish player who is willing to work with full health will get a fair salary, and I will help them as if they were Greeks.

This is not about real life, this is about in game diplomacy and personal behavior in this game.

And if the signature by Turkey means nothing…. Is it the same with the signatures of EDEN and PANAM who are the guarantee powers of the deal? What will be their reaction? Do they exist or a guarantee from them mean …nothing? Honest questions that search for an answer… we will see.
