Etemenanki for Congress in Quebec

Day 947, 16:29 Published in Canada Canada by Etemenanki

I’ve heard that the first time you do something is the hardest time your going to ever have doing it. Personally, I have always thought that more the case with the second though. In my mind the first time you go out and do something, if you fail, it’s no big surprise and you can truly chalk it up to just a matter of being a rookie. The second time you do it though is the one that you can’t rely on that crutch, and you can be compared to the first time you did it. If you fail, you will look back and wonder if the first time was only a success because of luck, as opposed to skill or something akin. For me, it seems that when it comes down to winning an election, the third time is the tough one.

As you can tell from the title, I will be running in the belle province of Quebec. EPIC approached me this go around and asked if I would be willing to give up my position in Ontario and run here. I would be lying if I said I was reluctant. The truth of it is, my French is not particularily good. I only just squeaked out of French in grade 9 with a 56% or something of the likes. In my own defence, I had been taking French for 10 years in school, almost got put in French emersion (damn you parents for NOT doing that) and did it in 5 different school boards, which I do not suggest doing in the future. My comprehension of French is fairly adequate, but my ability to truly speak it or especially type it is par at best. I would like to hope though that my forthrightness, eagerness, and honesty as a candidate can make up for that deficit to the people of Quebec.

I am an active member of the community, a Major in the CAF (I command the 2nd Division of the Reserves), former Vice President of the CSD and am the current Minister of Immigration. Could you find someone better at speaking French? Definitely. Could you find someone hard working, with experience and as transparent as completely possible as I am? I highly doubt it. I am a calm and intelligent voice of reason within Congress, and I come to it with experience at this game, and I fully understand that I work for you, the people of eCanada. If you would like to learn more about my past two months in Congress, please read my back articles, as I publish every ten days what has happened in Congress.

Je suis Etemenanki. Je suis à la recherche de votre soutien dans la belle province de Québec.

P.S. This is a cool fun game for those who like java type ones. Transformice!
