eSerbs in the media

Day 883, 08:19 Published in Denmark Denmark by HoeMarx

In the interest of a healthy media.

A prominent part of the eDanish authors, have many valuable qualities. But lets just focus on one of them, self-irony. A human quality, of the entertaining kind.
First of all, I'd like to stress that diversity is a positive thing. A completely homogenous society, would be more boring than watching snails race. And to this, I've witnessed clear homogenous tendencies in eDK at the moment. These fall into two groups, the pTO'ers and the eDanes. The value of self-irony in the media, is that it spawns, and furthers, positive and entertaining communication.

The eDanes
We have through oppression been joined together, more uniformly then before. A common enemy naturally amasses opposing forces. But even though the eDanes are being oppressed and exploited on their own soil and abroad, they have not lost sight of the true values of good media. The eDanes still contribute with interrogative articles, harmless slander and entertaining satire. Governing these articles, is the ever-present danish humor. Self-irony is visible in almost all eDanish articles, and especially the comments. If an eDane is slandered, they always take it with a smile, and use it to poke fun at themselves. This retains the aspect of an entertaining media, and is essential to the spirit of the community and maintains a friendly unity.

The pTO'ers
Banding up they form their own unity, maintaining the occupation of eDK. They display the behavior of encapsulated, xenophobic populists. But of course there is no need for this. They have overthrown the native government, and therefor rule the colony, formally known as eDenmark, as they please. One should think that the security that being part of a ruling majority grants, would spawn overhead for engaging in the media, with at least a playful distance. This is however clearly not the case. This group uniformly choose to exercise the media with non-entertaining propaganda, the mark of a frightened government. When accused of misdeeds, in the light of empirical evidence, they shout out with a single and multiplied voice: "troll, troll, troll". When faced with articles or comments containing eDanish humor, they never understand it, and therefor once again shout:"troll, troll, troll".

So what does this mean?
Basically it entails that communication is difficult, but not impossible. We have a difference in humor. The eDanes have self-irony and satire, and the pTO'ers apparently have no humor what so ever.
So in order to further communication, we eDanes could meet their request, and refrain from our entertaining tendencies. But there really is no rational incentive for this, as it would only suck the life out of the media.

Instead I propose that the eSerbs grow a pair.
