Hello British Democratic Party members!

My name is Eric Ross and I am running as a candidate for the British Democratic Party Presidency.

About Myself: I have been playing eRepublik for nearly 11 and one half months now. I began my eLife in the eUSA, but after a short time in eCalifornia and eKarnataka I resigned from the United States Workers Party and moved to eEstonia, then eUk. When I first came to eUK and was granted citizenship. with the exception of a one month fact finding trip to eNZ, I have been a happy and productive member of eUK society since.

Experience
* I have been playing eRepublik since day 831, and am 24th level.
* I severed as PP of the party when we transitioned from TRD to BDP.
* I have served as an Apprentice in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Gifting Hub.
* I ran Ross Firearms, 70+ Wellness at a modest profit for over a month before selling the company.
* I have eight times earned the Hard Worker Medal, and only missed a single days work. This is a testament to the fact that I will be available at least once a day (often more) to hear the needs of our people, and deal with matters of state.
* I have thrice earned the Super Soldier Medal by virtue of daily training to increase my abilities to defend our nation.
* I run The Straight Shooter (my personal newspaper) and have 90 subscribers.
* I represented East of England from May 25th to June 25th and July 25th to August 25th in the House of Commons and know congressional procedures.
* I have served as the eUK Ambassador to eSpain.
* I have served as a Market Analyst with the Ministry of Trade.
* I am very good at selecting the right people for Party Cabinet positions, and not micromanaging them. This can best be seen by our moving into the Top Five during my first PP term... and the fact that I correctly give credit to the members of the Party Recruitment team for that achievement.

Policies
As a Party, we are in the BDP party unified by our beliefs that every citizen should have a say in how eUK is run. To paraphrase a line from a great movie, Political Parties exist to provide the people with freedom, the people do not exist to provide us with position. As such, I will do the will of the Party, as voiced in approved policies voted into place during party polls.

Domestic Affairs: Are currently our main focus, as it is our job to take care of the people in eUK. In BDP everyone has a say and everyone’s voice is heard and entitled to their own opinion on all aspects of Party life. We respect citizen’s viewpoints and hope to build on everyone’s ideas and views to create a fun and welcoming atmosphere that all feel comfortable contributing to.
