Editor's Note
* Not sick no more. I'm picking up with the conquering of Nunavut, late Sunday night. I know, a bit old, but it's a good one to start with. However there are two things I failed too map while sick that I still want to put up here:


* First things is that Belgium came back into existence. A resistance war by Seal Team 6 and the coalition of EDEN/Bro military orgs, this created Belgium, and created it PTO'd from the start (6/4 EDEN/Bro vs PEACE congressional seats). Highst gets his first resistance hero award from this. The EDEN/Bro hero was Grinch85. The Hero for Nederland and PEACE was AndreasIsaksson getting his first battle hero award.


* Washington State was returned to the United States in a resistance war started by SaraDroz, earning her her first resistance hero award. The hero for the Brolliance was witia, a Polish tank getting his second award. The hero for Hungary was MinotauroCentauro, an Austrian getting his first award.

North America

* Nunavut was captured by the Brolliance in a pretty serious feat of mass attack. I was watching that battle while huddled in my plague cocoon (aka bed), and ten minutes before the end I was sure the Brolliance was not going to win. Then seeing the wall drop 100k a minute.... well. Seeing that is why I'm going all the way back to this battle to start mapping. The hero for the Brolliance was Pearlswine, an American getting his third award and putting out 39716 damage. The hero for Hungary was BattalGazi, currently sporting Phillipino citizenship, getting his 44th award and putting out 38799 damage.


* The Canadian attack on Hungarian Alaska was defeated. This battle ended shortly after the battle for Nunavut. It's debatable whether or not the Brolliance and friends had it in them to take Alaska as well, though the general consensus was that with Russia on the other side of Alaska, the time was not yet right to open that front. The hero for the Brolliance was Portuguese citizen ViolentReaction, going for the battle hero award, his first. Congrats ViolentReaction! The hero for Hungary was Japanese citizen Glxblt, also his first award. Double congrats!


* Next, the resistance war in Manitoba, started by Hungarians to remove the American border with Nunavut, was completed. However since Nunavut was in Bro hands, this actually turned out to be a very convenient, and cheap way to landswap Manitoba back to Canada. D'oh. rlazol did a least get another resistance hero award for his efforts. The hero for the Brolliance was Hubold, a Hungarian, who did his damage before the Hungarian knew Nunavut's fate. The hero for Hungary was Big Brother, a German citizen, and member of the Ambassador Program. This get's a d'oh icon.

Africa

* Brazil is landswapping Mpumalanga to South Africa.

Europe

* Amidst conflicting orders in the media, Indonesia is landswapping Western Siberia back to Russia. Western Siberia is high oil, wood AND iron and would be a major boon to Russia's economy, especially for making war. Whether this is just being good friends, or a calculated tactical move in preparation for the eventuality of the US taking back Alaska and bordering Russia of course is only known by those in charge.


* Romandie, an original Swiss region, is being landswapped back to Switzerland from Hungary. Rumor is, this is for strategic reasons. As Romandie's only issue might be it's border with France, does this signify something might be close to changing in France? Probably not, but we'll see. Either way, this is a landswap, and Switzerland is going to get a little bit bigger.

Asia

* The distraction resistance war in Heilongjiang started by EDEN/Bro against Hungary was defeated. The hero for the resistance was smif, Romanian/Moldavian super tank. The hero for Hungary was The Man Himself, Euphonix.

Opened Training Wars

* Russia is having a training war against itself in Ryanggang.


* Latvia and Lithuania are having their little shindig again.


* The Philippines and Malaysia are having their training war in Sabah.

Closed Training Wars

* Western Slovakia was secured by Slovakia in the training war versus Czech Republic
