eRep in Maps - November 15th

Day 726, 18:20 Published in USA USA by Mainegreen

As usual, let me start by saying you must visit eGobba's World Map. This tool is invaluable to anyone, especially in helping me try and collect the visual representation of what the heck is going on in eRep.

In order to understand these maps here is the legen😛

Yesterday's Article

Editor's note
Turkey apparently was too busy to get back at Israel. Or perhaps they were feeling very understanding about how these things with crazy president's can sometimes just happen. Currently JMatH has proposed to stop trading with the USA and change the Israeli citizen greeting to :

As a citizen, you are to watch Spongebob. A lot.
To do this, go here:

After you watch this, quit so Turkey can occupy Israel.
Also, tell Scorpius to let JMatH(me) have his voice back in the IRC.
JMatH

Surprisingly, he is not under impeachment. Perhaps there is a rule blocking this as there was an impeachment attempt a few days ago?

Europe

* A double whammy was opened up on Hungary in Eastern Slovakia. The resistance war part of the double whammy was started by matishere, holding Peruvian citizenship and an apparent member of POW, which if I remember correctly (and I might not, so fair warning here) is part of the Polish PTO attempt on Peru. This was done to maintain Poland's initiative as...

* Hungary secured Western Slovakia against the Polish attack. The hero for Poland was Polish 'Peruvian' GROM/EDEN mobile corps member HeadCutter. The hero for Hungary was cobanoglu, a Turkish level 21 Field Marshal.

* Central Slovakia was secured by Poland in the war versus the Resistance Force. From what I can gather, the Polish were going to free the region, but didn't what some random Philippine interloper getting a free resistance war hero for starting the battle, so crushed the resistance. The hero for the resistance was and apparent Croatian with Moldavian citizenship going for that first battle hero award, Admiral William Ajunta Lee. Congrats Admiral William Ajunta Lee on your first award and having the longest in game name I have seen to date! 😃 The hero for Poland was Polish POG member Sadix, making darned sure the resistance war got squished.

* The real landswap that would create Slovakia was started by Sadix. Remember that when Slovakia emerges again, all it's wars would be closed, so Hungary would have to start another war to take the region, which would take 24 hours, giving Slovakia time to form the MPPs needed for protection.

Asia

* Shortly after Malaysia and the Philippines started their training war, Indonesia attacked Sarawak, Malaysia. This occurred just after yesterday's article publication. At the time of today's publication there is about half an hour left with a wall of 2,978,363. Odds are very high that Indonesia will not win this one.

* Southern Thailand was conquered by the Resistance Force in the war versus Indonesia. This hands the region back to Thailand. Indonesia wanted to hand the region back to Thailand, but was unable to coordinate her citizenry enough to do it on the first attempt. This second attempt was more successful. The hero for the resistance was Indonesian beta giant, 22 strength tank salesman. The 'hero' for the defenders was Indonesian regen, going for that first battle hero award. Congrats! Thailand now has all her regions back, against her will. Why against her will? She now faces potential labor shortages and increased chances at being PTO'd, though with citizenship PTO's will be harder. Not impossible though. Various military's are currently on alert, as it is suspected that Indonesia will attack Australia or South Africa next.

Opened Training Wars

* Russia opened a training war in Kangwon.

* Latvia and Lithuania started what is now the venerable training war in Samogitia.

Closed Training Wars

* Russia's training war in Ryanggang came to a close

* The Philippines and Malaysia closed their training war in Sabah.

Thanks for reading, and if you wouldn't mind, could you vote up the touring edition of this paper? It's in South Africa today!
