End of CODE? - Interview with the SoFA of CODE alliance!!

Day 5,785, 12:44 Published in USA USA by Hillary Clinton1

Hello my fellow readers, i bring you an interview today with official Secretary of Foreign Affairs (SoFA) of CODE alliance - JOy13x.
JOy13x is and experienced ePlayer who have been CP for 4 terms and also as i said before he is the SoFA of CODE - the biggest alliance today in Erepublik.
He accepted for this interview and to answer about my questions, about the leaving of eTurkey, the lands that were lost, and of what seems to many as the end of CODE...

I really hope you will enjoy this 🙂

1. Hello to the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the CODE alliance - JOy13x, thank you so much for agree to make this interview with me, but before we start would you agree to introduce yourself first for those who don't know you?

Thank you for the interview and interest.
I am a relatively new player, I returned to the game after approximately 10 years, and in this short period of time in the game I have had the opportunity, thanks to my party and MU (UMA), to be president, MoD, and MoFA. Later, I was invited by the Code HQ to be part of it, currently I serve as SoFA of CODE.

2. Can you please tell us about your role in the alliance as the SoFA?

Well, my tasks, at Code, is to build bridges between neutral countries and our alliance. Sometimes I have to talk with countries from other alliances, of course. It's really interesting and quite a challenge for me as a "new" player, let's say. Taking into account that there are players with more than 10/12 years in the game...

3. What the biggest thing you have done as the SoFA of CODE?

Naa, I don't think I have had any great particular events or milestones in this time... One always tries to be present and help in all areas... Today, it is more complex because we are in a very difficult moment, and being On the losing side, of course many doors close, but you begin to value true friends.

4. Did you succeed to Did you manage to lead any move or operation against the Asteria alliance?

I believe that no operation can be carried out by a single person. Maybe yes, a plan. But without the collaboration of other people (CPs, MoDs, MoFAs, etc.) it is impossible to pursue success, then achieving it is another story.
Personally, I had to carry out several very successful campaigns and others perhaps not so successful (for Argentina) but beneficial for the Alliance. Of course.

5. Can you tell us about the last few weeks of the war against CODE?

War against CODE? I think it cannot be called that, our enemies should not call it war either, simply because they are over several territories or almost all of them. Clearly, CODE is not playing. There are people who should be working on getting a fair game for everyone and instead, they are touching the prices of the packs... A shame. Instead of keeping the few remaining players, they insist that more players abandon this old game.

6. As the SoFA of CODE do you feel like you messed up or failed in your role? Is there a certain responsibility you take on?

No, the truth is that no... I understand that I could not have changed much of what happened... From my point of view, the imbalance is in the inaction of the moderators and administrators of the game, not in the players.
I am responsible for what happens with the member countries of our alliance and other neutral or enemy countries, that is my task.

7. What is the main factor that CODE lose so many lands in such a short time?

When there are no media and no one to judge who breaks the rules, what is currently happening happens... This is not a war, it is about erasing countries, without them being able to defend themselves, and the worst of all is that the player communities of those countries end up distancing themselves from the game, they end up killing the communities.

8. Some of the small countries in the alliance feel that CODE isnt care about them and the feel they are on the on the fringes of the alliance, what do you tell them? Is CODE collapse?

Well, that's your opinion, I respect it, but I don't share it. We have always been, are and will be attentive to all the needs of our members. Of course the needs are not the same, nor can the answers be. It is a game where community. Code will not collapse until its last member decides to leave. Some of us really consider ourselves friends, we have blind trust, that's what an alliance is about. Those who cannot handle that will surely look for another path.

9. Is there another alternative today to the alliance of CODE to deal with the occupation of the Asteria alliance?

Not at the moment, we will only continue working to free the members of our alliance.

10. What steps do you think should be taken to improve the situation of the countries in the CODE alliance and what will you do to promote them?

We must reorder and reorganize a part of our alliance, we know it and we are clear about it. But it is only feasible when people feel motivated and we have a common goal. And the truth is that the game, today, with its flaws and injustices, fails to captivate those who are leaving, much less bring in new people.

11. I have talked with the CP of eTurkey - Tuzgunn and asked him about why eTurkey left the alliance and about CODE and he said :

" We have been friends with the countries in our alliance for years. We fought together. We won victories. However, there has been no organization in the alliance for a long time. Everyone seems to have given up on the game.
There's no point in continuing any further. I don't know how long this will continue. Türkiye is not alone. We have many friends. There is no old excitement left in the game. If the game management doesn't make changes, I think the game will be over.

It's time for change in the world. This isn't just the CODE alliance's problem. "

- What is your answer for that?

I share your vision of the problem, it is precisely what I have been saying. I don't really know the CP, the first time we talked beyond greeting him at the beginning of his mandate, it was because of the CODE exit law.

As I told you... I consider his assessment to be correct, but I do not share the method of protest, let's say...

12. What's CODE plans for next month and the near future if you can tell us

Try to release our cores, meanwhile we stan by for a good response from Admins/Mods, about our inquiries..

13. If you could change or add ANYTHING to this game tell us 1 thing you were picked to change/add and why?

Hard to pick just 1 thing.. But.. I pick bring security about the abuse of multies, maybe.

14. Before we end, there is any last message to our readers, your friends, and the community that read this interview?

The friendships that are generated in this game, and transcend the RL, must be cared for.
Enjoy this silly and boring game, which keeps us talking with friends on the other side of the world.
