End of a Era

It has been 510 days from the day some Random guy set foot in the New World of Erepublik, a lot has happened, a lot did not happen, all that did and did not has bean written down by so many different players alike, that the guy lost track of what did and did not. It is weird that when someone looks back at some things only a few still are here that once made up a entire community, I want to call upon all those that where there when they were building up this eCountry to what it is today, to remember all great achievements, remember those that did the right things at the right time so that we may be here as we are today, welcoming new players to a place those players set the foundations for.

I want all to sketch the following scene, some random guy going through a forum and finds a topic labelled ‘Erepublik’ in it is a description of a game which holds much potential, the once doing it are the once that all may call then self’s Ex Iron and Wine members now as that center right party was the party where all party’s today have sprung forward from, yet at the moment the random guy entered the eWorld there where 2 active party’s. ‘Gathering of Tweakers’ and ‘Iron and Whine’, the guy quickly joined IW as it was a smaller party as GoT, and perhaps was more fun, he was directed towards the IW forum what became the first national forum, and from there started his political career.

After 1 month he ran for Mayor of region South, the following 5 months he became it 3 times, but he also became congressman after just 1 month in the game, and stayed that until the very start of V1. The guy witnessed the fuse of GoT and IW into the single largest ruling body of the eNetherlands. He was the first 2 Ministers of Home Affairs under the following government and saw the rise of new party’s, one of those he is a member of today, back then called the SPV, now the LSD, he saw the rise of our most success full president from that very party: Cocoamok. And verry recently the guy saw the fuse of 2 glorious countries to form a Union not seen in the eWorld before: the United Low Lands.

Yet politics is not all there is to this game, there is the war path, one this country has bean careful about not undergoing them selves, we have always been one of the smallest countries in the eWorld, and will always stay so, yet we produced a couple success full military and political minds, we have created through diplomacy and direct military help some very close friends, and call our self part of the alliance known as PEACE. Remember that we where there when it was founded, remember that we are still here today thanks to them, but not directly thanks to them, but to the players that made it happen. The random guy fought in many wars due to our membership, many different conflicts, the random guy saw empires rise and fall and new empires born from its ashes.

Yet what is it that makes us, us in this game? your path you choose does, who dictates your path? You and you alone. Can we, veterans of this game, only can give you a nudge in the right direction, I encourage new players to go to the Forums , have a nice chat on IRC. and forget about the In game limitations of the 5 clicks a day and look out wards the features that are not featured in the game but in the epic world of Out Game Erepublik, as this is a game that is about one thing, Community.
