Elementary Ways of Getting Gold

Day 1,542, 22:55 Published in Japan China by Chise E Tamai

Hello, I am Chise; once again - I am writing this article because I see people with thoughts and concern about gold, probably especially so because there is this promotion for upgrading companies now. I am not a person with much gold, and doesn't really know how the richest person get there (besides from just buy a lot), but I would still like to share some elementary ways of getting gold from here:

1. Leveling up

This is probably the source of the first pot of gold for new players. Every time you level up, you get 1 gold; simple as that. However, note that this would only be a significant source of gold in the early levels because..

As shown here, leveling up requires significantly more experiences in higher levels. Higher level players don't get much more experiences than a new player, so the progress of leveling up would be significantly slower once you pass level 20, making leveling up not a dependable source of gold, but more or less a bonus that comes in every once in a while.

Side note about experience: In eRep, you get 1 experience for every hit you launch on an enemy, and 2 experiences every time you work or manage your own company. Some missions would also reward you with experience.

2. Medals

For every medal you earn, you get 5 gold. The easiest medal are the Hard Working Medal (work for 30 days) and Super Soldier Medal (awarded to the player for every 250 strength they achieve), since both of them just require one to play consistently. Society Builders are in theory available to even the newest players, but that requires social skills and motivation outside of the game to achieve, so I would not call it easy (but congrads those of you who managed to get it, as it strengthens the country and the eWorld! - and yes you get extra gold if the players you invited also makes gold, as another recent article have stated and encouraged for); other medals, then, are significantly harder.

Generally, I see the two easy medals - Hard Working and Super Soldier - as a stable source of gold of 10G that comes in every once a month. Save or invest them as you wish.

3. Buy them from the market

Yes, gold is also being sold on the market, in exchange of currency. If you have a lot of currency (ie. JPY), then you can buy a lot of gold; so the next question would obviously be, how would you get currency?

It usually goes like this: players make goods from their companies > goods sold on the market > player earn currency. Simple and straightforward. Currency has multiple uses - buy food, buy weapon, buy gold, or buy companies (raw material). I personally spent most of the currency I earn from market for buying new companies, as the more companies you have the more goods you make, and the higher income you have, which is much like an investment.

Of course, budgets would have to be managed so that you can have spare money to buy supplies for war or gold; I would recommend new players to spend money on investment first, so as to build up a stable high income from your companies, and then think about war.

4. Buy them with real money

Needless to say. I will leave this as an option for each of the individual players.

Best regards to everyone of you!
