Elections results (september 2009) [UPDATED]

Day 676, 00:40 Published in Netherlands Netherlands by Flando

Dear countrymen,

Another elections has passed and the results are in!

There is a total number of 463 votes.

Party - Seats - percentage of seats - total votes - percentage of total votes
BP - 15 seats - 37% - 184 votes - 40%
I&W - 10 seats - 25% - 93 votes - 20%
LSD - 9 seats - 22% - 96 votes - 21%
GLD - 5 seats - 12% - 67 votes - 14%
GVD - 1 seat - 2% - 24 votes - 5%
TLP gets 1 seat from the small party law.

That makes the following coalitions possible:
BP+ I&W = 25 seats
BP+LSD = 24 seats
BP+GLD+GVD = 21 seats
I&W+LSD+GLD = 24 seats
And, ofcourse, other combinations based on these coalitions.

If we look at vote efficiency we see that only I&W and LSD have a higher percentage of seats then votes. I&W seems to rule our union at vote efficiency, with 20% of the votes and 25% of the seats they may be proud!

Sidenote: Trical is indepandant, but his seat will count for I&W

Now, lets look at the number of votes and the number of members a party has:
BP - 184 votes - 332 members - 55% members-vote percentage
I&W - 93 votes - 87 members - 107% members-vote percentage
LSD - 96 votes - 148 members - 65% members-vote percentage
GLD - 67 votes - 75 members - 89% members-vote percentage
GVD - 24 votes - 37 members - 65% members-vote percentage

That makes I&W the only party with more votes than members! While BP looks like it has the most inactive members.
