Join the new world

UPDATE: The elections are over, and the Belgium for Belgians party managed to secure the most seats in congress with 45%. The Poles took 30%, the Americans 15%, and the Croats 10%. Unfortunately this means that the PTO forces could outvote the Belgians if they joined forces, placing the country's sovereignty on unstable grounds.

As all around the eWorld, the Belgians are currently electing their congress. ...or rather, everyone from around the world is trying to elect the Belgian congress. Croats, Poles, U.S. Americans and Romanians are all trying to wrestle Belgium under their control while its actual citizens are trying to ward off the invasion with the help of their Dutch brothers and sisters.

These are the parties running for congress, and their alignments:


The Belgians:

National Defense Front - A separatist Belgian party, determined to make Belgium entirely independent and neutral. They cooperate with BfB to protect their country from hostile forces, although some of its members have voiced their willingness to work together with the Croats if it's absolutely necessary.

Belgium for Belgians - Supported by the Belgian Party in the United Netherlands who also sent many of their members to Brussels and Flanders, this party is the only other genuine one. It is headed by Olv007 who has been the president of the UNL three times already and it aims to defend Belgium against foreign intervention to protect its self-determination.


EDEN

Belgian Neutrality Party - The party of the Croatian soldiers who ignited the resistance war and seek to PTO Belgium, if yet they speak of wanting to cooperate with its citizens to a limited extent. They already publicly announced their intents to turn Belgium into an EDEN puppet.

Movement for Belgium - Polish PTO party.

Independent Belgium - Supposedly another Polish party, although its members seem to be from all kinds of EDEN states.

The Council - The leftovers of The Group, the Romanian military organisation who already took over and exploited Belgium few months ago until it was finally liberated by the UK. It's headed by Highst, the only member of The Group who back then actually sought contact with the Belgians.

Belgian Defense Party - U.S. American party. They claim to seek to protect Belgium from a Phoenix takeover, however this is a lie. Phoenix is not intervening in these elections, and thus this is merely another hostile PTO force.

At the time of writing, BfB has the most seats in congress. But this promising outlook for a sovereign Belgium is darkened by the crowds of Croatian, Polish, and American troops still lurking in the shadows waiting for their chance to take control of the nation, not to mention the fact that former U.S. president Josh Frost recently gave orders to Seal Team 6 to counter (non-existent) Phoenix PTO groups, rea😛 to turn Belgium into an American colony.
