Elections: From -20 votes to +20, Snaskefar makes an incredible spurt and wins!

Extremly tight and exciting race in the Swedish presidential elections!

Us active players have been sitting in IRC and laughing our pants of. Intyala started out very good in the race against Snaskefar. Intyala had between 15 and 20 more votes untill around 16:00, after that, he continued to gain votes in the same rate as during the day, but it was Snaskefar that started to gain more. And more. And more.

And around 17:00, the race for the presidency in Sweden was extremely tight. Most of the time until 22:00 o'clock, the two candidates had exactly the same amount of votes! Speculations and conspiracy theories was of course the biggest talking activity on the private chat channels.

Last time it was so tight between two candidates? February 2009!

Right now the votes are counted and the Swedish official eRepublik mods, Larm and Lonestar, are checking after multis and other cheats. But I looked at the result just before the day end at 8:55, and it looks like Snaskefar won with more than 20 votes. It was an incredible spurt!

More updates later when the votes are properly counted.

Update: 17:22, no more updates. Who cares really about the election when... we got a whole new MM system!!!
