Elections!

Day 885, 22:38 Published in Canada Canada by Saya Innsbruck

I can't completely agree with the Longsword rebellion, to be honest. To politically messy and perpetrates the political mess. Also might mess with my chances in election! 😉 But really, If the new congresspersons from this "revolution" are active and have eCanada in their best interest, I don't really care whether they are military lobbyist or party politicians though. Just as there are redneck tyrants and swindling lairs for each group, there are honourable patriots and nation-building statesmen in their respective categories. If the end goal of this "takeover of congress" is to completely refresh the establishment and revamp the camaraderie of the nation, I can see it being a positive turn of events. If it ended up being an attempt to forcefully eliminate opposition, however, this would be an insult to our national ideals. In the end, the votes are in everyone's hands, so we will see whether the masses support this new turn of event or not. It's not like CAF can force an election to stop, nor to muscle out the opposition considering the party leaders are all politicians. As usual, vote with both your heart and brain.

In any case, please vote for me in NFL, if you agree with what I do and believe I am the best out of the candidates. For all other candidates, I hope you will vote for the one that you believe contributed most to eCanada. Party orientation should be secondary, I hope.

As usual, I promise to at least do the basic requirements of a congressperson: participate in the congress forums, do background checks for new immigrants, continue to be active in erep media, and generally being an honest person. Ask me questions if you like here or in PM.

I run under the CSD-CNC coelition, which is currently undergoing a merger. I stay with the party generally because of its agreeable members, not because of the party line which is rather non-existent due to the fact you can't really control what people do on erep. That is good, because that is democratic.
