Election Review: Snipers Shoot and Zombies turn Human?
Jewitt
Snipers take aim, some hit; many miss
Many snipers were out at 23:45 server time last night. Mjdiv (Libertarian) was sniped by supporters of the CVP candidate, Findy in Rhode Island. A similar case happened in Texas where Harrison Richardson was sniped by supporters of Libertarian-backed Acend. Also in Tennessee, our own Jewitt (UIP) was pulling ahead by 4 and the USWP candidate, a new player by the name "Thanatos the Great," magically obtained an additional 5 votes added to his name within five minutes.
Many snipers would fail, though they are hardly worth mentioning since it is kind of hard to tell. On the list of great sniper preventions, this definitely would have had to be NoneSuch (BA - UIP) in his close race against alleged multi-using Jeremy Hutchison (ASS). Or was it Hutchinson? One of those was the candidate, the other the sniper.
Now-Military Governor (Formal: Congressman) NoneSuch, stumbling from his close encounter and a sniper vote lodged in his shoulder, told The Report, "Fuck that cookie bastard." A true eAmerican, indeed.
Zombies....coming back alive?
Every Congressional Election, the term "zombie" is thrown around to talk about a candidate that "Three clicks." Work, train, vote. They do not partake in Congressional discussion and there really is no way of knowing if they voted or not.
In this, a question has arisen as to whether this is a good thing. On one of the spectrum, many people say that the power of the ballot is stronger than any words. On the other end (which this media institutional endorses for obvious reasons) there are those saying that the power to vote would never happen if voices never speak up.
Last month, it was criticized that Joshua Hoss (WI - UIP), a "zombie," would be a terrible candidate. Today he is one of the most active citizens there are. Another example would have to be Claire Littleton (NJ - UIP) who was a relative "zombie" and a "nobody" and is now the Press Secretary for the scrabman Administration, Deputy Speaker of the House, and alleged "hot momma."
RightCon Blunders, USWP trumps
RightCon, a coalition of right-aligned political parties to battle the mass which is USWP, has failed in their endeavor. With the intent to be able to unite and work together, they fought amongst themselves to kick out many of their brethren congressional candidates and will fail to nominate their selected Presidential nominee.
When asked about this, an unknown person in an IRC chat room said, "They're handing the Presidency to scrabman by not uniting. Serves them PIG DISGUSTING right."

FIRST DENIED
And you don't see me whining 😉 Nor Jewitt.
Very interesting... I can't wait until the next issue!
Jewitt, Harrison, you two are being honorable in the face of losing close races.
I was angry last night and I lost by 3, not 1 -- I can't imagine what that's like.
>Mjdiv (Libertarian) was sniped by supporters of the CVP candidate, Findy in Rhode Island.
What happened to RightCon?
Nice article Jewitt.
"What happened to RightCon?"
Good question.
See the last section for your answer. 😁
For the record, Findy (RI) is a member of the American Right Party, and CvP did not snipe for him that I am aware of.
Also, I TRIED to get the parties together. Where were the parties last night? I heard that the UIP was too busy battling each other pokemon-style to fight the USWP...and the AAP was a (near) total no-show.
The voting in Nevada and Minnesota was also affected in the last few minutes by sniping. There may have been some disgruntled SFP members wandering around like footless crows looking for opportunities after the AAP blocked Robert Bayer in North Dakota.
Good Reporting, Mr. Jewitt and Mr. Hunt. I always look forward to this paper 😃
All of SFP was in Oklahoma
Gilroy,
I don't know why you say that all the SFP was in Oklahoma because it is not true.
"Message your new Congressman and demand they keep in contact with you.

Quoted for truth.
Instant runoff might have changed things in some states where more than two parties were running. Like Florida, where Ananias won with only 35% of the vote, or Texas where Acend won with 29%. Other states where the winner had less than 50% include Alabama, Arizona, Baja, California, District of Colombia, Georgia, Idaho, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
I would encourage any congressman who did not receive 50% of the vote to be extremely humble this term. The USWP should also really think about what the election would have been like if we had runoff voting (or a 2 party system), as the runoff would have probably benefited RightCon.
I already proposed a Instant runoff be implemented in erepublik. After that didn't get much attention I suggested that a two round run off be implemented, once again no one seems to care. I even try to get the admin to rename "Not Qualified" to something else. I have yet to here a response from "admin" regarding his/her stance on my suggestions.
To be fair, while Findy was on the CVP ticket, he represents the American Right Party. The CVP did not engage in any sniping in Rhode Island. The American Right Party however... well, we only had one candidate, could you blame us?
I like brains.... wait... not a Zombie anymore....
nice work as usual!
@Joshua Hoss: The motto of a eRep Zombie is: "Vooooteezzz, I need Votteezzzz"
@Crom: I believe that Pokemon Battle took place after the elections were over. The UIP did a good job last night, gooo UIP!
@Orbit-Fish: Your butt is hairy.
@Jewitt: I resent the term "zombie" as that is trademarked by the USWP. I prefer UIP Robot.
As I spent my real-life day in Rhode Island today, it's unfortunate that real-life Rhode Islanders voted for me and people who have never been here voted me out, but I guess it's just another facet to politics here and we have to learn from it and become more equiped for that and get better...
You lost Jewitt!?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
😮
I just want to thank everyone who supported my candidacy for congress and want all to know that I will do all I can to improve the eUSA experience for everyone. I will also pledge to be active (not a zombie) and faithfully serve.
Hats off to my opponents in the race, especially mjdiv for running a great race, being very helpful and just an all-around good dude.
Lets all work together to bring about the best we can in this congressional session and remember we are one country united.
Findy
eUSA Congressman
Great article! Enjoyed it, as usual.
I thought the USWP was supposed to win 52 regions. They didn't come even close to that, so in that regard RightCON wasn't a failure.
Still...as a member, I wish there had been more communication among the 'little people.' We'll work on it.
@ Jewitt: nice analysis, and important picture of sniper-kitty.
@ Claire: how do you know what Orbit-fishes' butt looks like? Wait, don't tell me.

I am totally not a zombie. Totally. I swear.
Great article,
Voted.
Did anyone here about the scandal in Delaware?
I personally have no idea why anyone would be mad at someone who votes at the last second. It is completely different from eBay sniping, do some people look at the vote and think "Hey, my guy is winning! I guess I don't have to vote today!" *waits an hour* "NOOO SNIIERPRPRRSSS NOOO I SHUDDDA VOTED!!"
If you have a good answer to my question, please pm it to me.
