It's Election Day

Dateline : Late Tuesday January 25 (Day 1162)

Custer's Stand is my own newspaper. Opinions expressed here are my own.
Oh, and I'll take my votes and subs the hard way... the honest way, thank you.

Is it really so different now?

The principles of Freedom remain the same.

USDP candidate, Federalist Party, Southeast of Ireland.
I've been given a few tickets for mobile voters... First Class or Coach, non-stop.

Yeah, sure, right now it looks pretty good for me.
But I don't know any of the other candidates, or who's backing them.
I do know I've made a few powerful political enemies who would not spare any expense to stop me from having a voice in government. They'd rather elect a duck than see me get in there.

Use your head. Elect active players who will stay their full term and do the job.
My preference-- soldiers. All branches, all political Parties. I like soldiers in Congress.
I like Kria in Utah; Nuriessa deserves a shot in Maine; Lord Krauser has been a great Congressman.
There are quite a few candidates I would like to see in Congress.. some I've worked with when I was there before, some are soldiers I've served with and I know their capabilities.

But this whole Endorsement business has become a part of the popularity contest nonsense that's elected way too many incompetents and slackers based on who's pals with whom.
So.. use your head. Elect active players who will stay their full term and do the job.

Custer's Mantra:

What kind of game do you play, what kind of players do you like to align yourself with?
What kind of leaders do you want, what kind of leadership do you expect of them?
What kind of country do you want to "live" in and play for?
