Join the new world

Interesting times for the eUK today, we have our Congress elections and we are on the verge of liberating the eUK from our old foes Canada. France have their hands full at the moment (a HUGE shout out to Hungary for all their efforts) so when we do finally remove the Canadians it will be the first time in a long, long time we will be able to take the regions from Ireland promised to us in the UK/Irish treaty.



We owe ONE a huge debt of thanks as well and I'm sure there will be days ahead when we again face the prospect of being wiped from the eRepublik map once again...unless we begin talks towards those that seek to regularly occupy us. Canada has made some promising noises about peace...and yes, treaties have been broken on BOTH sides so now is the time to finally end this war. For the time being both sides should be concentrating on helping our allies. France is a different proposition but at the moment is in a position we have found ourselves in on many occasions - needing help to liberate their regions. Now could be the perfect time to approach the French government regarding the future and possible peace between our two nations.




And to today's Congress elections - I am standing in the North east of England, but looking down the candidates list i have been impressed by the quality of our candidates in each region. I have been wanting to enter eRepublik politics for a while now, I am very active, dedicated to the eUK and want to see our country prosper. I'm hoping for a positive result today, that being said I wish all candidates the best in their campaigns.
