Given that today is Election Day for Country President I've decided to write a brief article on Country Presidents. Since I don't follow politics all that much you won't find any interesting tidbits or solid backings for my opinions. Sorry!

Since my eBirth on Day 939 there have been 11 people voted into office of eUS President. They would be....

Chocolate McSkittles

I didn't vote for Chocolate McSkittles as I was eborn a day too late but did think the user name was pretty spiffy.

Bradley Reala

I listened to the sheeple and voted for him. In my opinion the worst ePrez I've had the dishonor of voting for. He did absolutely nothing. He was virtually MIA after winning the election.

St Krems

Again, I voted the popular candidate and I must say Krems didn't live up to my expectations but actually did things here and there to warrant a winning campaign. I did enjoy all the articles and posts about how great St Krems was.

St Krems

Since he actually made things happen he was reelected for a second consecutive term and his stability was sorely needed.

Colin Lantrip

I believe Colin was elected for his military badassness. Yes, badassness is a word because I said it is. Want to call the grammar police go ahead. You'd most likely reach me. 🙂

Back to the point, I can't really say anything about Colin's term since this is when I started to seriously ignore politics and most likely when I left the Feds.

Alexander Hamilton

No clue here... Pretty sure I only voted for him (if I voted) so Claire Littleton wouldn't win. She's the female version of Pfeiffer/Arundel and I wouldn't be surprised if they were one in the same.

Henry Arundel-"I'm basically the most badass person in this game."
Claire Littleton-"Claire Littleton is currently being awesome."

Need I say more?

Josh Frost

I'm almost sure I voted for Josh Frost. It must have been the awesome kitty he sports as an avatar if nothing else. I have nothing really bad to say against the guy.


Haliman

I know I voted for Haliman. Some say he failed, some say he didn't. The jury is still out for me.

Julian Mizu

I was uber excited for Julian. I didn't know the guy but his avatar stirred me the right way. All things considered he seemed qualified. Then a RL issue led to his tenure as ePrez to fall to the wayside. Sad story....

There can be only one!

Glove

The love for Glove was so abundant and apparent that even I had to read most of the articles leading up to the election. From my observations, Glove has changed parties more than Liz Taylor had changed husbands. This didn't sway the voters negatively as Glove won handily with the backing of the "feared" iNCi. The love of and for Glove is still felt even to this day.

Emerick

Love him or hate him he's always there for eUS. After a defeat in February 2011 Emerick has stormed back with a vengeance. In his return bid, Emerick came back to help the eUS rise from defeat and help thwart an onslaught of epic proportions. Emerick is currently on his way to winning reelection and his 4th nod as ePrez.


All in all being voted as a Presidential candidate or any political position is all about perception and popularity. Anyone who says otherwise is fooling themselves.
