Elect Jdr1986 for FED PP

Day 1,177, 16:37 Published in USA USA by JDR1986
I would like to announce my candidacy for Federalist Party President.

I have been in the Federalist Party for over a year. During this time, I have held a position in every department and have run most of them. I have been dedicated to this Party in good times and bad. This is my month to be the leader that brings this Party back to greatness.

Experience

Federalist VPP
Under Qubert, I was VPP of the Federalist Party. During that time, I led the FOP, creating a spike in informed Party members. Also, I was Political Director, for which I won 14 congressional seats. I started to train Melissa Rose and I filled in for Qubert at times when he couldn't be on.

Federalist Political Director
As Federalist Political Director, I took control under David Landon. For the 3 months I controlled the department, we had more active and qualified individuals in Congress than any point since.

Federalist Outreach Program
I started out as a PC in the FOP under the old FOP. Until stepping down late last year, I went from PC to Assistant Director to Director. I used my position there for advancement into every political position I have held during my time in this Party.

Congress
I have served in Congress 4 separate times as a Federalist. The months i did not run I served as a blocker. I have mobile voted in every election, even if that meant that I would lose my own race, for the good of the Party. In my 4 terms as Congressman, I served on the IES each term and served as IES Chairman for 2 months.

Media and R&R
I run my own political paper. It has strong, non-partisan views and supports the nation, rather than any one party. I also serve as a Federalist staff writer. I have written articles for the Party and EZC. Most recently, I signed up as a Federalist mentor. I have friended everyone that has replied to messages and offered them all any help they need to progress in this game. To encourage activity on the Federalist Forums, I send each new member, under level 20, a wellness package, letter introducing myself and giving advice, and if not already done, a friend request.

EZC
EZC is the best program the Federalists have available to increase recruitment and retention. It allows even the newest players to take part in battles and get involved in the most exciting aspect of the game. Not only that, but it feeds new members and gives them a stable job. For older members, it allows us to fight more than we normally would. It also allows us to help the Party and new players. I was an EZC staff writer, as well as the EZC QMG.

Goals

We all know that as a Party, in the recent months, we have lost our drive. Excuses have been made and promises to change. After months of an ideological recession in the Party, we are starting to show weakness to the outside world. We need to regain our drive. The Federalists are a Party that believes in a strong nation. Yet, on the national scale, we have almost no candidates viable for POTUS. Few members have the experience to serve in the Executive Branch. We used to pump out active and intelligent Congress members in large numbers. Lately, we have been failing in that regard.

FOP
To stand as a great Party, we need active and informed members. I started here, so I have always seen the FOP as a stepping stone into Party leadership. However ,in recent months, the FOP has become nothing more than a spam message that the Party members simply discard. We need to revitalize this department and, once again, make it a place where active members can step up into leadership.

EZC
EZC is the greatest asset of the Party. It can handle new members in great numbers. It breeds active members into the Party. It has led to much of our active Party leadership. We need to increase communication with EZC and promote it, as much, as or more than we promote the Party.

Inter-party Relations
I intend to use the same policies I used as a Political Director by increasing communication with other parties. I fully intend to negotiate with other parties to get the best Congressional candidates into Congress. The Federalists support a strong nation. Getting the best and brightest into Congress and throughout the Executive Branch is my primary concern.

I am currently deciding between two excellent people to be my VPP. If I decide, prior to the election, I will release an article about it. Otherwise, it will be announced in my state of the Party address.
