eIreland in World War IV



The world is on fire. Where is eIreland?
We are were we have been for a majority of our history, independent; free from any alliance. At first glance we appear to be a neutral nation during this WWIV, but we are in fact partaking in the conflict. The Irish Defense Force, or IDF, deploys eIrish soldiers to fight for many of the nations involved in the war. These deployments are kept quiet, which is why many are unaware of eIreland's level of participation in the war.

eIreland's Official Position on the Invasion of the eUK

The President's Statement

eIreland will be taking a non-aggressive stance on this particular front of WWIV. We will not be deploying IDF troops to aid either EDEN or Phoenix forces. However, Miss Savage clearly states that the IDF will be deploying elsewhere. Which means eIreland may be "neutral" on the eUK front, but we will have troops fighting on the other fronts. Our stance on this front is free to change too, if events lead one way or another.

eIreland on Alliances

The eIrish have called for eIreland to join an Alliance. The only problem: we are divided on the subject. We have EDEN supporters, Phoenix sympathizers, and a whole mix of others with different opinions. This is the reason eIreland can't directly partake in WWIV. We are a nation divided.

A committee is being formed to address the issue of alliances. This committee will be in charge of gathering as much information on all of the alliances as to simplify the act of choosing an alliance to join. In the not so distance future we may no longer be an independent nation, but part of something larger.

eIreland's Value

eIreland is a valuable asset, and would be considered as so in any alliance. We have a population of 1500, which is larger than Phoenix's eEstonia and EDEN's eNorway, and eSwitzerland. eIreland has a military strength of 4.81. This is greater than the military strength eBrazil, eBulgaria, eIran, eLithuania, eSerbia, eSlovenia, eTurkey, the eUK of Phoenix. It is also greater than eAustralia, eBosnia and Herzegovina, eCanada, eCroatia, ePoland, eRomania, eSpain, and eSwitzerland of EDEN. eIreland also has a greater population and military strength than eIndia, who battled and liberated many of its regions from Phoenix's eIran. eIreland is not as defenseless as it may first seem.

Other than the statistical value, both EDEN and Phoenix would gladly accept help from eIreland in WWIV for its geographical location. eIreland cushions one of the eUK's weaker defense lines. If eIreland joined EDEN these weaker areas would be exposed. If eIreland joined Phoenix, the eUK would have more of a cushion.

eIreland's Most Precious Resource



A nation of our size needs to grow and develop. There are two things that we need for that to happen. A baby boom and an increase in activity. These two things is what every nation needs.They both have to deal with population but in different ways.

A baby boom is a sudden influx of new citizens. This would give eIreland the ever important resource of population. Many people want a baby boom but it is not easily done.

An increase in activity is utilizing that resource. An increase in activity would include those who haven't joined the IDF to join the IDF. Those who are two clickers to establish a voice and no longer be just a statistic. This is something eIreland desperately needs, even more so than a baby boom. So I want to encourage all of you that read this who would fall into the demographic of "two-clicker" to start to make a name for yourself, and all of you who have not joined the IDF to do so. You will be needed in the near future.
