EIRE - A Rising Red Star in eIreland

A RISING RED STAR IN eIRELAND

Day 3,994

Long time, no article! I have been away on vacation with my lovely mate. A lot has happened in the last week so I will try to summarize all the activity in ÉIRE and what's happening next. In my last article I wrote an introduction to our Party and about Party positions that are open for applicants!

The Irish Revolutionary Force started out as a party of only six members when I joined. Within a few short weeks it has transformed into ÉIRE, a principled far-left political party set to represent the interest and will of all eIrish, and we have jumped up to nine Party members! That is a 33% increase in membership. That is not the only impressive feat we have accomplished in our short existence.

The latest Congress election showed that eIreland is hungry for a viable left-wing Party to rise among the ashes of the ILP. We in ÉIRE managed to attain 10 votes (14.93% of the total vote) and we have graciously anointed 7 members into Congress. That is 7 out of 9 Party members managed to make it into Congress! Wow.

We are still in the formation of our Party. You can be the next addition to our team. We are setting up an organized hierarchy and delegation of Party roles so we can become an efficient political machine capable of one day governing the whole nation. Only by working together, as a united people, will we throw off the shackles of the imperialist nations and the god-king Plato!

- Your Party President,
Mike Bane

"No revolutionary movement is complete without its poetical expression. If such a movement has caught hold of the imagination of the masses they will seek a vent in song for the aspirations, the fears and the hopes, the loves and the hatreds engendered by the struggle. Until the movement is marked by the joyous, defiant, singing of revolutionary songs, it lacks one of the most distinctive marks of a popular revolutionary movement, it is the dogma of a few, and not the faith of the multitude."
